Choosing not to play a video game doesn’t take guts. 2. You and 99% of the people on these forums and in this community who love throwing around the term “gatekeeping” really need to learn the definition and proper use of it. Having a release schedule for items does not equate to “gatekeeping”. Every single player whether they’re paying customers or F2P will all have access to the weapons.

Pretty sure the guns aren’t going to be much better than what we have…. With that said; loot is good and all and drip content sucks - have fun boycotting an event that didn’t cost you any $ - I’ll be enjoying the new mode cuz everything else in PVE is stale at the moment

I don’t think suggested boycotts ever change anything in D2. Usually the people suggesting it are the first to be playing when the content drops. It’s also free content so it doesn’t have any impact on Bungie. I’m not thrilled with it being time gated but I want all the weapons so I’ll play regardless. I’m curious about next week stream.

3 RepliesGatekeeping? How so. The entire Brave Arsenal is available to all. It’s only a singular cosmetic change to the weapons that people need to play during ITL in order to earn. Otherwise, the weapons are the same and have no further benefit over there non cosmetic versions.

I could if I wanted to, but I’m not that upset about the release schedule. I’d prefer the weapons to all be available at the start, but it’s not happening. If Bungie time gating something made me not want to play the game I’d have needed to quit years ago. There’s point getting myself bothered by it as I can’t influence the decision. -
