I love how you guys say pvp is balanced when its totally not when a pve main wants to play trials but just gets stomped on by people who have all the pvp guns. they are like so happy with themselfs because they do the easy stuff while the pve mains actully do challenging stuff. Oh then on top of it you make guardian games have a diamond medalion locked behind 1 million pvp no lifers that pve mains can't get but the raid diamond medalion everyone can get that thats not even fair call of duty has WAY better PvP then you guys and thats bad. No wonder you guys are losing money maybe if you made pvp more welcoming for pve players you get more people.

1 ReplyTrash cheaters and sweats killing the game. But you have to blame Bungie for making trials so toxic when they could of easily made going to the light house 7 wins not in a row . At the rate its going you still run 4 or 5 games for just one none cheater toxic game .
-
1 ReplyYes. Call of duty has better PvP. Any game build around PvP is going to be better than Destiny. PvP in Destiny was a mistake since day one. I just pretend it does not exist.
-
1 ReplyPvP has never been balanced & it’s absolutely far from being balanced now

As a casual/PvE player, I just stay tf out of comp and trials. They are not for me. I wish mayhem was permanent. It's the only truly casual mode imho.
-
Wot? This must be satire, if not it's VERY sad.

They made a pvp bounty and a pve bounty vog only takes 30 minutes that's faster than a flawless run.

4 RepliesAgreed. Also, please reduce the difficulty of Grandmasters, to feel more like Hero, so PvP mains can play PVE. Actually, funny thing is - people who are good at PvP tend to be good at PVE anyway. I guess… get good?

Bungie: K
-
Why? I'm a pve main and disagree with this. Should we make endgame pve easier for pvp mains?
-
Trials is the endgame PvP game mode destiny is trying to advertise it not as what it is. Some people are skilled enough for a master raid or a gm and some people are skilled enough for trials
-
I do pve things to get guns I use in pvp.
-
So you are basically saying that people can go by a helicopter to go to work but we all prefer a car?
-
Well at this point im a pve main for pvp gear, or i was... before they changed the special ammo s**t.. now i dont even want to play pvp... so im not going to.
-
If you do PVE and it’s so challenging why can’t you beat the oh so unskilled PvP players???
-
1 ReplyShooting dregs won’t prep you for trials. Maybe play some comp and improve at 3v3 a bit before going into trials. You would raid without playing strikes first. In my opinion, Bungie will never please any of the ‘mains’ (PvE or PvP) because the game is best when you don’t main anything and just play all aspects.

1 ReplyWhat a contradictory post. Pve players do difficult stuff & PvP players do easy stuff. Surely by this logic pve gods would slap the easy mode PvP guys about 🤔

Edited by Zodleon: 3/10/2024 11:43:42 AM
they are like so happy with themselfs because they do the easy stuff while the pve mains actully do challenging stuff.
Let's start here. What "challenging stuff"? Surely you don't mean raids as the only thing challenging about raids is bad players. Not gms, those are pretty easy. Jumping puzzles? Beating Oryx ain't got **** on xXbob(adept)nolife360noscopeXx. Next, you're delusional if you think pvp should cater to pvemains specifically. Play the sbmm mode it's for you. If this isn't a troll post I'll be shocked. If it is great, bait. Edit: not a single solo or solo flawless dungeon? No day one/week one/ or flawless raids? Barely any gms? What hard content? Seriously.

99% of the best pvp guns are from pve but the best pve guns are near all the time locked behind pve, so lmfao
-
Trials isn't meant to be easy for PvE players. Trials isn't easy for most PvP players. How would you feel if someone posted, "Make Raids and Dundeons playable and easier for PvP mains?
-
9 RepliesEdited by jyoung314: 3/9/2024 9:25:33 PMMake pvp terrible for everyone so shite players don't feel as bad. Incredible logic. This is how we get stuff like D2Y1 and checkmate.

6 RepliesPvP is like any other mode or game; practice, practice, practice.
-
So you are saying Trials is easy and PVE is hard? Am I hearing this correctly? Do you hear yourself? You asked for Trials to be easier while in the same breath you said it was easy…I am astounded.

3 RepliesEdited by Lich: 3/10/2024 6:08:17 AMStop playing pve as much and focus on pvp. Pve, you are literally shooting at things that dont fight back and are so predictable. All behind some artificial difficulty. Then you expect the same results.
-
Step 1: If you want to get better at PVP hop into regular 6v6 to find a build that you like to use. Step 2: Once you have a comfortable build and you found a few guns that work for you then go hop into Comp to learn the basics of 3v3 and why its different and will require you to play smarter and more tactfully instead of rushing around everywhere. Step 3: Learn the maps and the different advantages of certain areas. Step 4: Now once you do all that and get a taste for what Crucible is and what you need to do to improve then you can go play whichever mode to your hearts desire. If you love PVE did you not need to learn how to battle champions via champ-mods? In raids do you rush in without doing any raid-mechanics and expect free loot? Did you solo flawless a dungeon first try without watching a tutorial or build guide? These are rhetorical questions, to learn anything requires practice.

A lot of weapons that are meta in PVP drop from PVE activities. Here are the weapons in the Trials Top 10 that drop from PVE acitivites: 1) Ammit 2) Prosecuter 3) Conditional Finality 4) Adjudicator 5) DMT Trials is not "balanced" in the sense that teams are literally not Lobby-Balanced. Trials doesn't even use SBMM, so you can match anyone of any skill level. Be prepared to try your best when you load into one of the only modes where PVP skill is rewarded. Whether PVE or PVP is more difficult is subjective. Personally, I think PVE is easier, because you have infinite retries with the exact same parameters. In PVP, there is more randomness, as your enemies change every game, so there's not a surefire way to prepare.
