Destiny 2 keeps crashing my new PC
Hi, I've recently got a new PC, and Destiny 2 just keeps crashing my pc with a black screen after 5-10 Minutes in the game. Everything ran fine on my old PC... My specs are : AMD Ryzen 7 5700X 8-Core Processor 32 GB Ram NVDIA GeForcs RTX 4070 Ti
I have not found a solution in the Internet yet.
I want to clarify that I don't understand a lot about PC's so please try to answer the easiest way possible.
Things I've tried so far:
- Capping my FPS to 60 and activating VSync to 60 FPS and change around various settings in the game.
- My GPU certainly doesn't overheatbsimce I've monitored that
- I've tried underclocking my GPU via MSI to various degrees up to - 400
- I'm certain I've installed the newest drivers
- I deleted the temp files
- GeForce experience doesnt let me optimize Destiny 2
I wanna reiterate it's not just the game crashing when I play it but it crashes the entire PC
PS: Sorry for my bad English, since my not existing PC knowledge please try to explain everything in laimans terms. I've got ~ 1200 hours in the game and I really don't know what to do...

If youre using any MSI parts while utilising any MSI software such as MSI Centre, I'd recommend uninstalling the software. I used to have simaliar issue on D2 and other games and its an issue with it. If you try you don't have anything to lose and can always reinstall if its not the issue.

Same issue here, I have I7-3700F Graphics Card RTX 4070 which should be fine, but it freezes every day. Tech support says unplug PC and hold power button for 30 seconds to clear PC, make sure all drivers are updated. Use Chrome or Firefox and not MS Edge.
