Pvp comp player count
I've never had this happen in D2's life time. I actually reached the point tonight where I could not fill a competitive match in Destiny. Put some good rewards or something in comp so it has a player pool again.

The population is near it's lowest. Player sentiment is lower than Curse of Osiris levels right now. Can't be helped until Bungie stops being ignorant and greedy.

7 RepliesWe need ritual pvp weapons again, obviously not as broken as lunas howl or mountaintop but guns that have max stability as a base stat or something. Heck I loved lunas howl not because of its perk but because it’s the only 140 with an incredibly good amount of stability. I love stable weapons, it allows me to focus more on my aim than trying to constantly fight my reticle. The rituals could also have exotic tier perks but nothing that would essentially break them. A lunas howl 140 with a max stability and maybe a perk that landing crits increases range would be a start. It wont break the ttk, the gun wont suddenly be impossible to go against and anyone could still outplay it because it’s just a regular 140 with good stats.

3 RepliesIf only rose and mercurial would drop at random instead of the bullshit!t focusing they've implemented. Hell I'd even be happy with a weekly rotation on comp weapons, I swear everyone and their mom would play for rose.

The point system is garbage. Just gave base point for win at least double the loss points. Also upper level PvP is hot meta garbage. Too much rise and repeat. No variety. Also PvP is a mess. Aim bots, hit detection, special spam… It’s a dying patient.

Probably because there are so many "low-key" cheaters in that mode, and the point system makes no sense. Just lost a match earlier as a solo matching a 3 stack. So because the population is so low, it has to find players for you but instead of waiting for 3 more solos it puts you against a 3 stack of two 10000 Ascendants carrying one adept against 3 solo adepts. The two ascendants are combined 2.0kd in crucible and 3.0kd in trials. We get absolutely trashed, and I lose 260 points. Bungies stupid internal skill rating calculated that I was way better than that team and should not have lost even though the team had a 90% chance of winning when we started. So, let's not get to the point that today, I went on a nice win streak of 8 matches, and 5 of those I was awarded 40 points. In just that one match, I lost 6 matches worth of points. This is why no one plays comp anymore. I'm just trying to get to Ascendant for the emblem, but once I get it, I AM DONE until the next season. It really is a waste of time. If you aren't adept and close to Ascendant, my best advice is to stay away from Comp.

2 RepliesFix matchmaking. Make matches fair. If you have a high skilled player on your team. Put them and there friends against other teams that are carrying there friends. Take breakthrough out of comp. Make actual rakes. Not point ranges. Make inspired weapons that players want. Most of all make the game modes feel worth playing.

Comp was fine the way it was, it just needed Rewards. The formula was fine, it just needed Frosting, but they went and changed the entire formula. Before Jan, Players were at 50-55k..Now they are at 40-45k. PC will be dead before Finale Shape drops.

1 ReplyRanked modes should be the closest, most fair matches you'll ever play. When I play ranked CoD, I can tell my opponents are on my level. When I played Comp, it was like I was in Trials, so of course I'll never go back. I'll just keep playing CoD. At this point, Bungie doesn't have the player base to offer good PvP unless you're top tier, and the PvP Strike Team feels more like a few PvE folks doing their best, but not quite understanding the balance between fairness and keeping it "Destiny feeling".

Wast majority of pvp players are playing only for couple of weeks to get to ascendant and then 3 games a week for the Rose, so no wonder that it's dead, because there is no incentive to play

Been like this all year even in pve. You can always run old seasonal content anytime during the year, during past years but this year things like salvage & deep dive are almost impossible to find players in.

5 RepliesHi. You must be from US or UK (?) I haven't been able to find a comp match in 3 seasons now. Get timeout at any given point in a season when trying to find a comp match
