Dawning 2023 is bad
This has to be the most boring dawning ever. I usually love the dawning because I get tons of bright dust but since the eververse store doesn't have seasonal ornament sets for bright dust only for silver I have a ton of bright dust already. I already have enough for everything I'm planning on getting for the rest of the season until final shape comes out plus the guardian games ornament. The weapon ornament is mid, I only have a few stasis weapons I might put it on, most of my favorite stasis weapons aren't craftable. The albedo wing is trash. Aggressive frame glaives are trash. Too slow reload, too small mag, no super fun perks. That's for all glaives though and why I hate them. There's no snowball piles anymore and the snowballs don't do enough AOE damage and also don't even work. None of the upgrade options are happening at all. There's no event to participate in which might be a good thing since everything's become a boring grind with the only reason everything's a grind at all anymore is because drop rates are so low now. Not like the loot is fun and worth grinding for. I mean look at the festival of the lost. Thank God dawning doesn't have an event like that. The eververse store pretty much only had things I'd gotten from previous years and the new stuff is very mild. Overall 2/10 event. Wouldn't recommend

1 ReplyThe whole game is bad, which is why they missed revenue projections by 45% and had layoffs. But it is not their fault. It's the fault of all the players who let them get away with it for years. I haven't paid them a dime since Beyond Light and Season of the Lost. They have to earn my money, and they haven't done that since even before I stopped paying them. They are a greedy company who has become very lazy and hostile toward the wishes of the players.

I must have focused 50 LMGs by now and still haven’t seen the column 3/4 perk combo that I want. I also want a roll for Glacio but I don’t even think I’ll get the LMG roll at this rate. I keep having enough spirit for like 3 or 4 focuses but I don’t get any gifts in return. I’ll deliver like 10+ cookies in a row without seeing one sometimes. This event is exactly what they said they weren’t going to do with layers of RNG. We have ingredient drops, essence drops, spirits drops, and gifts in return drops. Then the focus of a weapon is also pure RNG. It’s just REALLY badly unforgiving and annoying. They’re really letting the RNG get bad again. The game was just so much more rewarding during the WQ year. That year was just more fun and rewarding overall.

Like a all seasons and dlc this year, bungo don’t know what to do, but they definitely have an understanding of how to make a game so that people hate it, I’m sure that the marathon will fail and after that the company will simply cease to exist, I’m looking forward to Sony taking everything under control and it doesn’t matter if it’s worse or better , they are walking on thin ice and soon it will break...

Edited by The-IIID-Emp1r3: 12/27/2023 10:17:02 PMJust like the EAZ, just like Halloween, just like how SINCE VANILLA D2 we've been in the same "tower" outpost while watching the actual tower get "repaired" yet not really get repaired because theres no way that in all this time it ain't fixed. We should of got the tower back the moment bungie made D2 free and not require the disc to play anymore (faster to launch as a download than still using the disc installed game) This is why they're in a big deficit, too much effort in trying their hardest to pack the cash shop to the brim with overpriced shiny stuff while causing a good chunk of people to stop playing or at least not give them any more money in eververse sales (also virtual currencies that are not 1:1 in real world monetary value shouldn't be legal, on top of that somehow someway.. virtual currency is taxable...theres tax on buying a bunch of 1s and 0s.. how is that legal.) rather than put all their efforts into keeping the most people possible around and pray they are happy enough to toss a coin to their Witcher *yes, a pun* (ifykyk, whole theme of this season, check the room under Mara too)

Same like with the seasonal ritual list orb requirements. Never ends. And stop showing me percent. How many, blunt and open, don't try to screw me. Transparency instead of hide and seek.

The thing that gets me is the snow ball mods still don't work, I don't think they worked last year either and maybe not even the year before that. Seriously can bungo not play test anything, even with an entire year to get it to work it still goes out broken.

4 RepliesThe problem is we've been saying the Dawning is bad and boring for years, nothing has changed except a memento quest this year. That's it. It's always been bland and boring.

I grind those cookies, just cookies after getting star baker gilded Leveled up so fast. 5 each of every cookie at least 5 times and it pushed me higher but don't do it if it upsets you so.

I've been playing every day and literally got 2 weapons with bad rolls. The amount of time put in with nothing to show for it sucks.
