So much this! Have one that I met in D1, and we've been friends for over 9 years. We haven't met in person yet, but we text each other a lot and send funny stuff through social media. He's one of my greatest friends because we're so much alike and I absolutely love him. Hoping one day we can actually hang out in person, cause he's family for life.

Same here, met a friend in Jan 2015 in D1. We both live in Sweden but have never met so far but i'm sure it will happen one day. He stopped playing Destiny after a couple of years due to school and life but we keep in touch over the phone regularly. We can talk about absolutely everything in life and beyond! Destiny is my very first online game and I never could have guessed I would meet a friend for life by gaming online! (I'm old.) 😸
