I saw a video of True Vanguard with the title saying he is an old man and it makes me wonder if he thinks he is an old man in the PvP community then how old are the players in this game because if True Vanguard is old, what am I with my 50 years?
I'm not a top player but I'm far from bad.
I did 3 solo flawless, 2 on xbox and 1 on pc. I wonder if there are other players my age who are not bad at pvp.
please post a short comment to keep to post active thank you!
ps: i'm really not sure where i supposed to post this in the forums so sorry if it's in a bad section.

1 ReplyEdited by terrybown61: 12/13/2023 6:53:00 AM62 and just holding my own with a 1.47 kd. Could be much better if I didn’t just rush in like a lunatic 😂

1 ReplyMost people I talk to through LFG are 18-35, but that’s PvE. Gotta be careful with data on here. These forums skew old lol

2 Replies22 tomorrow, been playing Destiny since I was 12 🥴

I think it’s fair to say a big portion of the player base is over 30. It’s part of their problem but understandable with the Franchise being a decade old. It’s tuff for young players to jump in at the end of the story and they certainly don’t make it easy for any new player to start. Releasing an animated series would be massive for them to attract younger players into the game.

2 RepliesAre you a cop? Do you work for the census bureau or something? Why do you want to know my age? Is this a test?

1 ReplyStill trying pvp at 65 1/2 (yes, at this age every month counts). Now it is a struggle to keep my kd at, or just above, 1.0. I have found that this season it is more of a struggle than previous seasons. Previously, I was able to maintain a 1.57kda and have some fun. I believe that the biggest change this season is due to the changes in the matchmaking system. That and the reduced overall population. For quite a while now I have only played pvp during IB as the sbmm system that it had allowed me to have some fun.

3 RepliesEdited by BANZAI GEXX: 12/10/2023 4:20:15 PMI’m 54. Play PvP every day. 22 matches yesterday. 14 defeats per match average this season. Almost 2,000 kills in iron banner and 7 win streak this week. I’m not great but I can hold my own. I play aggressively. No special weapons. Scout, pulse , bow, auto with side arm or smg. 56 wins in iron banner this season. All solo.

2 RepliesThe only answer shows its either too early or a lot of people are at a misery job already. Can't even check the cellphone at a misery job. I personally think that I fit into an age range that when combined with the metal folding gaming chair I've been using, that plus my age at this point should count as enough of a hinderance that I should always be given pristine shot registration. Maybe that should come at 50, but I do get sleepy easier.
