The sad part was that the mode was kind of fun, at times. I don’t want to play 109 straight matches of it, but it wasn’t without its merits. I almost feel bad for them. Gave us a new mode that they worked on and everyone immediately rejected it. Not defending them in the least bit, but if we always revolt against everything new they try, they get to a point where they stop trying. (At least I would…)

It seems so easy to just test these modes out and get feed back before implementing them. This is like the 4th(?) time now IB has gotten a new, seemingly untested, mode that the community at large has rejected. It feels like they are always just a few adjustments away from being okay, but then just get abandoned. And don't think it was (just) the forum feedback that got it changed, it was that people were just not playing it even close to as much as first week of IB normally gets.

Well iron banner is an old formula that they try to improve. Personally how I’d do it is like this -IB control or IB clash -Put 5 new weapons every season -With every IB reset you’ll get an adapt IB weapon of your choice with 2 column option but still random rolled. -maybe make artifice IB armor instead of our regular?

9 RepliesAlot of people think it means those that don't like it [i]just suck[/i]. Nah man. Iron Banner has been my favorite PvP forever, not to mention my best in scoring. I'd put myself in the average category there, guilded seals and all. Its usually the right amount of tactical. Very fun, even if it gets frustrating. This Iron Banner though? Nah, not touching that. This is god awful on every level. It is not enjoyable at all, even when you're the team stomping. I'm not playing for one sided, easy stomps, I want a good competition between teams. This IB provides nothing good. It just exacerbates all the problems of PvP from elitism that has zero place anywhere, to physical problems like team balance. Glad I got everything as it came out. I don't need anything, except maybe a better scout roll, but I've got others, but I'm disappointed something that's generally enjoyable is just ruined completely.
