I disagree. Matchmaking for harder content like raids or Gms is not the play. Do you really want bungie’s matchmaking in endgame content? Crucible is bad enough (forcing high skilled players to carry casuals against other higher skilled players) I wouldn’t want to be forced to carry 5 casuals in raids. Yes I know lfg sucks but atleast you can put out there what you’re seeking and vet people before starting. With matchmaking you have no idea what you’re getting from low lights, bad gear, anti-social, no mics, toxic egos, trolls, AFKers, etc, plus your not host so you can’t remove troublemakers. This is a social game I’m sorry but you’re gonna have to socialize a little bit to get good loot. If they do implement mm then there needs to be requirements in place for example Raid requirements 1. must have mic plugged in AND fireteam chat enabled 2. An AFK ping system to let ppl know hey I’m going afk 3. A vote to kick system requiring 4/6 votes 4. A REQUIRED minimum light level requirement not recommended. 5. 3 options of selection kwtd, Sherpa, Sherpaee with two different pools kwtd pool and the Sherpa and sherpaee pool blended together. KWTD for ppl that actually have the experience wanting fast runs without worrying if they have to teach someone. Sherpa for people that have experience and want to teach or want to get the emblem, can put mom of two Sherpas into a lobby of Sherpaees. Sherpaee players that have no idea what to do AND they meet the other minimum requirements to get access to the raids. Gm nightfalls don’t really need that many requirements but I would say having two sources of champion stun, dmg resistor mods, and 50% mw gear equipped would be good enough for me as basic requirements.
