He's the worst kind of hypocrite and should regulary get dragged for it. He needs to be treated like Clovis was a few seasons ago.

this.

I don't like Immaru. That being said, he's no worse than any of the hypocrites I've seen here or with humanity at large.
-
He's brutally honest - "we" are the hypocrites.
-
Please explain
-
We kill. A lot. And lots of us don't seem to be appalled by that. There's plenty of lore and story elements that show that. Remember - you can be on the "right side" and still be a war criminal.
-
We aren't war criminals my dude. Every one of these species came to OUR system uninvited with the intent to wipe us out. He also serves the hive, the species that has committed countless genocides (recently killing millions of Cabal) for their logic so yeah, he's a massive hypocrite.
-
he's also a -blam!- traitor.
-
We have committed some heinous acts of violence. I just might remind you of the Saint 14 cut scene a few seasons ago. You can still be a violent monster that gets away with everything just because you're on the "right side". In Gambit Drifter is luring other races into the arenas just to be slaughtered for entertainment.
-
The same fallen that wiped out millions of people in London? The fallen the killed Amanda's mother? Shin Malphur's parents? None of things happen if they did not invade our system. I could understand your point if they left and we chased them down to kill them but that isn't the case.
-
Each and every single one of them wiped out London? Even Saint admitted to have strayed off course and given in to pure bloodlust. Acting legally doesn't mean acting morally. You can be on the "right side" of history and still be a despicable criminal that would have been tried and hanged if they happened to wear another uniform.

I have no recollection of any of the Fallen asking to share the Traveller’s benediction prior to Misraasks’ House of Light. The Fallen slaughtered the survivors of the collapse, men women and children, then tried to take the Traveller by force and nearly destroyed the Last City. The Fallen had it coming. The Cabal invaded Mars and fought us every step of the way. Then the Cabal killed millions in the Red War. The Hive are arguably the worst of the lot, trillions upon trillions of sentients wiped out. Entire civilisations and species extinct. They do this out of some perverted form of Love. Yikes! The Vex are pure evil and deserve to be wiped out. The war crimes you stated we(our Guardian) have committed are nonexistent, every enemy we’ve killed has been armed and trying to kill us. The answer to this is sue for peace. Which House of light and Empress Caiatl forces have done so, in their own ways. The other alternative is to GTFO of our solar system or we’ll merc you. I think I’d like a piece of armour that says that. “GTFO of Sol or we’ll merc you.” As for Immaru, he’s a squealing narc, trying to save his own skin, and messing with our heads whilst he’s at it. We fight for humanity’s right to exist. That being said it’s a video game so who cares? Go shoot 💩 in the face, my gun goes pew pew pew.
The Vex are pure evil and deserve to be wiped out.
They aren't evil, their only motive is survival no matter what, which their end goal is becoming a part of the fabric of time and space itself so they would be eternal
Go shoot stuff in the face, my gun goes pew pew pew.
That thinking is a big yikes. Good thing its just a game.

Edited by TripleF73: 8/28/2023 4:25:20 PMOkay I should have said they kill each other out of some form of perverted love. Yes I know about the worms and the pact with the worm gods and the three sisters having to follow their nature etc. As for the Vex, this lore post explains it better than I could. https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyLore/comments/k4m3at/are_the_vex_really_evil/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1 By the way I’m right, the Vex are the ultimate evil. Not because of their intentions, but because of their actions. My you are an unpleasant fellow aren’t you? So I’ll follow your lead. Your condescending attitude and obvious inability to see my last line as a joke makes me sad for humanity as a whole. Why you ask? Because your probably going to be the same jerk to thousands of poor unsuspecting souls just going about their day. Have a good day 💩head.

The game wants you to question your point of view. Saint is an example of a Guardian that lost control and indulged in pure bloodlust. It ain't all John Wayne style black and white.
-
It mostly is. We are fighting against existential threats to humanity. There is little that isn't justified under those circumstances.
-
Very little indeed. If you are fighting for your very existence all bets are off. Anything you can use to ensure the survival of humanity is justified. We aren’t going to win an award for following the rules if we are all dead.
-
Yet,people want to act like The Last City and it's forces are supposed to follow the Genva Conventions.
-
You are dead on the money there. The Geneva Conventions are/were their to moderate military conflicts between humans not a war against humanity’s extinction by multiple alien species. You’d think that some of these guardians had never watched any science fiction at all. 😜
-
I don't want to get political, but some people in the audience and writer's room are too tolerant and liberal for their own good; the story of Destiny . Realistically most Gaurdians would operate like Saint-14 did on his crusade.
-
Each and every one of them came to the system uninvited. Also, as I stated earlier he serves a species that has committed genocide several times so he has no room to chastise anyone. You can argue the morality of war all day but point is they are all invaders and if our bloodlust bothers them so much....leave our home, that simple.
