Increase the number of available name changes.
While I do have a simple username that I’ve used forever, I would love to be able to modify/edit my Bungie name. I’m sure there are lots of guardians who would like to do the same but are restricted from doing so after using up their single “freebie” name change. As far as I know there are no available options for people to change their Bungie name after they do so.

1 ReplyIf you're speaking for a friend, well too bad. All those guardians#xyz deserve what they got. Constant name changes is annoying in game and in real life. If you want to build a community of players, you best keep your name so your friends know who you are.

They should just let you join with that #4 digits code if they really want easy fireteam join and cross platform connect, it would in fact be so much easier that way They obviously had an angle to monetize it, my guess is they were scared off with the microtransaction discussion

It's actually so bad, like a player creates a new account, let's say crota pounder,it's accepted at the bungie sign, congratulations crota pounder. You login in-game it says do you accept being crota pounder, yea cool, game starts & your Guardian 6969. Go to bungie to change name, caution you only have 1 name changem ok I'll choose blahblahblah, sorry you've 0 name changes left as we used your 1 change to make you guardian 6969 Such a bad company in so many ways

9 RepliesI would rather be able to assign general names like [i]Player 3[/i] to people. These dumb Bungie names are annoying: Imagine being “Mara Sov’s Fansly Acct” or “Ikora Rey’s Hairline” for your whole remaining D2 career!

I know the last thing some of you want to hear it put it behind a pay way but I personally think its a fair trade off. You get one free name change after that, it costs you. Thats how it should be atleast.

They should make it available more often even if it be like a yearly wait time like how the crossplay is a 90 days wait time before reconnecting to your account.

It should be changeable at anytime like emblems, it should be another way to customize your experience and separate yourself from the sea of Guardians, while also feeling more part of the game world
