I think outside of the triumphs for the seal, it's just the rewards from the tank and rank for the seasonal vendor.

I do it for the exotics and the golf balls. Best farm ever.

I have to say, I went to the Throne World the last few days to finish out the Mothcarp triumph (why, I don't know; just because, maybe?) and the Exotic drop rate was pretty awful in my opinion. I'd have settled for the Axehead so I had a shot at some golf balls, but I only walked away with 2 Exotic fish and neither gave me a Shard. I think the weirdest part was the fact that another guardian and I were at the fishing hole for a LENGTHY bit of time (no PE interruptions for some reason) and the drop rate still sucked.
-
I move if exotic fish aren’t dropping. Load in and fish until it’s interrupted by a PE. If it’s slow I try another place. It’s worked well and leads me to believe drops rates are dictated when you load in and vary.

Yeah, I'm thinking I might take a day to build up my bait supply and have another go of it soon. I'd really like to build up a surplus of Shards before the season ends since I don't know if fishing will still be a thing once the new one starts, and I've never even considered attempting a GM. It'll take up my postbox space, but I've actually gotten better about keeping a close eye on it so I don't lose anything of real value. Of course, if only we could store them in the vault........

My favorite bait farm are all the events in the EDZ.

Once I finish the 'Super Salvage' challenge, that's likely my next stop. Thanks for the tip!

Edited by The Hermit IX: 7/14/2023 3:27:22 AMI farm bait for a few days off and on and then go with plenty of bait. I’m using my golf balls to masterwork my best rolls. So I’m running through them regularly. My goal is to masterwork the high rolls 68-70 as long as it’s useful armor piece with great distribution. Im also making sure my Titan and Hunter get improved exotics for builds. It’s really my focus this season and I’m surprised no one mentions how easily high rolled exotics are atm.
-
I've seen more than a few comments on how easy it is to farm for Exotics and Shards, but most were too busy complaining about "having" to fish at all to take note of how much of a giveaway it really is.
-
Bottom line is I’m improving builds. I finally got my Warlock suspend build to a triple 100. Not as easy with using fragments with penalties. Between exotics, unlocking weapon patterns and finishing up getting all Strand fragments on my Titan and Hunter (Warlock was done first). I’ve been busy and enjoying playing.

I've tried to score the 'vaunted' trip-100, but I think the closest I've ever gotten was recov and resil into the high 90's and disc at around 89. Honestly though, with the simplicity of creating orbs and elemental widgets (no idea what to call them) along with the armor boost mods, I'm not too concerned so long as I can complete activities I strive to. What I REALLY need to do is motivate my procrastinating a** to finish things I keep pushing back on each week. That, my friend, will be a truly impressive accomplishment worthy of a seal, lol.

Depends on what I’m doing. I have multiple triple 100 builds with every subclass except for Strand. Now I’m tackling that. I have several double 100 builds on Strand but the triple has been a PITA. Farming armor, using artifice armor pieces I have and now having really high rolled exotics with much better stat distribution. Having fun is the number one priority. Haha maybe you’ll get that individual seal this season. Ive turned procrastination into a high end art form so I get it.

It's quite funny to consider, putting things off so often it actually becomes a refined skill, 🤣!

Saddens my soul.

You know about the quest right? I assume you're talking completing all the triumphs. There should be an emblem... something, I agree.
