People who bought lightfall got scammed

16 RepliesNo, they got what they deserve. This business could give the ones that are looking for your attention because they are hurt about what you post a turd and they would be excited about it. The fans come on here thinking if they make their childish comments toward other players complaining about whatever or players that make a post like yours "they are better than". The fans are the worst people on this forum, and reading the replies below proves it. Look at every single reply to you and it's usually the same 5 to 7 fans thinking they are special 😂🤦♂️ I can easily find every single one of them on multiple posts being snot nose kids towards others. [spoiler]Now the waiting game starts when they try to make it about me but never having any proof at all. I like the ones that say, "You are all over this forum, it's really easy to spot your post" but for years not one of them ever provided any proof of what they claimed about me. That's pretty damn bad... Imagen being so hurt that they have to constantly attack others to feel special about themselves 🤦♂️[/spoiler]

Eh. I got an average Destiny expansion for the same price as all the other ones. Idk about scammed, gotten more play time out of this game than I have most games I pay the same price for. But to each their own

2 RepliesI've played a lot of Gambit. In the water season, I'll never get above Journey Level 7. I'm not sure if I've actually finished Lightfall, but don't want to go through that again. Don't want to go through legend lost sectors. Got the fishy-fin-ghost shell today, and deleted it. The whole fish-like theme of this season isn't fun. Same for taken items, deleting them as they come in. I've fallen asleep through some of the events initiated from the Helm. Played one today, stayed awake, and the drifter got into a narrative at the end that was needless. Would do Master Nightfalls again, but won't be at a sufficient power level. The game is bad.

hardly ever log in now havent even completed the season pass and thats the 1st time ever since its been a thing but there's no point to destiny 2 anymore, weapons and armour are garbage so the grind is dead

I don't feel scammed. I've got my money's worth already w lightfall. The server issues have been the worst part but mentioning that is like beating a dead horse.

Agree not the best expansion they have ever done, I cannot believe they did not do some external focus groups early on who would have told them this is not the way to go.

FACTS, I barely get to playing a strike or anything else and the game crashes, I can play anything else on my PS5 except Destiny 2, can we get freaking refunded

I’ve had to talk friends out of buying it now, the same way I did during year one of this game. Taking a 3 year break from Destiny at Shadowkeep helped this game feel fresh for idk a couple months, maybe. I actually hate lightfall more than curse of Osiris at this point. Sure the overall game was significantly worse at CoO but that was year one when Bungie tried something different, albeit terrible. Now years later, after “learning from their mistakes” and they’re trying to pass off lightfall as an expansion? It’s clear this year is just one big cash grab to fund other projects outside of Destiny. I downloaded other games to spend the majority of my online time in. Good luck to everyone else that still dedicates to this one.

Guns are what they do well. A lost sector with Cerberus or Colony is more enjoyable than LF. Required builds to spend hours on an activity for little reward while having the tools for the task dictated isn't my thing. When I just play around with guns, all the negativity fades away. Give it a try. If the servers.......when the servers go down it's fine, no loss.

In that respect I do not feel scammed, shortchanged maybe. The server issues are of Bungies own doing and they have admitted as much. It sucks and i would like to receive some kind of compensation, 100 silver or free something for my wasted time, new sparrow, ship something, anything for crying out loud. But when it comes to the overall DLC, YES it kind of feels like I was scammed. The is the WORST dlc in Franchise history! the Story each season is like 5 weeks and in some cases takes less than 20 minutes to complete. The increased difficulty is something only the best of the best players asked for and now the rest of us suffer.

Yup. It’s true. I’d seek a refund, but I have enough playtime that I’m sure I wouldn’t get one. As a PvP player, the ONLY upside to Lightfall is Trials — which is a -blam!- -blam!--show, so no, that’s actually not an upside. I love this game, and it’s honestly sad to see how far it’s fallen.
