Transmat effects should be an unlockable instead of a 1 time use consumable. It's been 6 years and they are the only cosmetic item to not be updated
Shaders and ornaments have both been updated to unlockables, so I feel like it's time transmat effects got the same treatment. Plus, they take up a lot of space under the modification tab and cost 1500 glimmer + 5 legendary shards to pull from collections.
Not to mention that with the current system, it can be difficult to see effects you own, when customizing a ship

No. Buy effects from season one at 1000 glimmer each. Go to Rahool and break them down into shards and glimmer. This is the only way to buy shards. Why would you want to eliminate it?

The fact ghost projections have this but not ships… On that note, get rid of ghost projections?

Not until Bungie adds the option to buy Legendary shards with glimmer. It is a pain in the -blam!-, but the blue transmat > purple transmat > legendary shard process is the only reliable way to convert massive amounts of glimmer into something useful.

Who cares man, this game has so many problems that matter. Me and i imagine most aren't to worried about a .5 sec respawn effect.

Better yet delete them from the game with stupid ghost projections.
