Idk how this point system takes so much for losses and awards so little for wins.

Too Bungie comp score makes perfect sense since they want 99.99% of players to have a 50% win ratio and their score to refelect their Bungie Skill Rating. Comp Score is predetermined by Bungie, so you already have a set score before you even play a match. Once you hit your rank, you gain 5 points but lose 50+ when you lose. The only way you can hit Ascendant with a low Bungie Skill Rating is by being carried by 2 800+ BSR players. Since their aren't enough players to beat said "team," you won't lose, and Bungie won't force them to lose since they are supposed to be Ascendant. The average player in Destiny 2 has a 0.97 kd (not kda) and a 100 Combat rating. Which is roughly 0 Bungie skill rating (Gold Rank). Someone like myself a 3.4kd 250CR is about 850-1000 BSR. So when I lost, I didn't lose more than 20 points, but each win was 100-200 until I hit Acendant.

3 RepliesI wish bungie would come out with something that explains the point system. Makes no sense getting -blam!- stomped and lose 183 points then play the next match, win 3/2(barely) and receive 16 points. Lobby balancing is a huge L, matching is a huge L.

1 ReplyROFLMBO...I absolutely agree. Losing 140 points when its 3 of the opposition versus 2 of you is just bad. LOL...whoever came up with the math that dictates points during wins and losses should be fired. You'll be in comp FOREVER as a solo player. No to mention annoying Rift being a part of comp.
