If Nezerac and Oryx met and fought who would win.

4 RepliesIf he fights the nezarec we fought he's easily defeated by oryx. Apparently nezarec was much stronger prior to savathun killing him. I'd argue rhulk could defeat both of them. Savathun would beat all of them. She's smarter.

3 RepliesConsidering that we were much weaker in d1 and still beat Oryx 2x in his throne world, meanwhile Nezarec was only killed by Savathun after she tricked him, and when we fought him he was probably only at 1% of his original strength. I'd say Nezarec would probably win. Also consider that Nezarec acquired his strength and power on his own and was very powerful before he joined the Witness while Oryx gained all his powers from the Witness.

4 RepliesI’d probably say Oryx. If it was based on their strengths at the time when we fought them Oryx would probably handily win. If it wasn’t I’d say it’d be in Oryx’s favor if he could just retreat like he did at the end of the Taken King campaign and force the battle into his throne world. The throne world gives him a huge advantage especially since I think, as a follower of the darkness, Nezarec would obey the sword logic and just empower Oryx there

Oryx has been the best bad guy to date, only reason others are more powerful now is because of the power scaling.

Hard to say we’ve never encountered either at full power. If I had to guess probably nezerac, he is able to control and manipulate memory in the form of nightmares, and there’s evidence he might have been able to Take like Oryx in his prime if the neomuna strike is any indication; not to mention because of the traveler he also was able to manipulate the light (he just didn’t get the hang of it). I think our real question should be who was more powerful in their prime, Rhulk or Nezerac.

Neither can technically die . Long as nightmares exist so does Nez an Oryx's body is still growing , he might be a potato but he's still an able one
