Heat rises and wings of sacred dawn are absolute gimmicks. They are a waste of space.
You get like 3 seconds with wings on and then start to fall. It's pointless. Heat rises makes you a target.

1 ReplyI know a guy who uses Wings and absolutely demolishes people in PvP that don't expect a floating warlock in the middle of the map... So yeah, just because you can't or don't use something, by no means makes it useless or a gimmick. Love the whole, "I am the Universe." Thought process behind kids these days, lmao...

Try some longer range weapons Bows, scouts, snipers, lfr, ect Thats what the ads float stuff it for Manticore is similar but better for pve

Its also the worst, the very worst look including ornament in the game. It's literally a little girls fairy wings costume. If you're a sniping god, WoSD can be good but for the rest of us mere mortals it's pretty useless.

I have a build using heat rises and I can infinitely spam solar grenades. It’s amazing in pve. [spoiler]nibbles crayon[/spoiler]

Lol try it in PVP while sniping. That's what it was designed for. It's incredibly good on most maps. * I'll ask for a current video update on this exotic, that way it can get nerfed next season if you like....

7 RepliesTrue unfortunately, because it's easily the best looking exotic we have. Bungie simply doesn't know what they want anymore. Their hearts aren't in it, and now that they're working on new games it's only gonna get worse.

Unless you know how to use it. Don't get me wrong I won't use it. But I know players who literally control outcomes of trials matches with it (prior to the exotic switch rule)

Seems like you just cant use it. You can stay in the air forever if you hit shots. And you have 15% damage reduction.

Little known fact that weapon hits while tome of Dawn is active will extend your time in air.
