Why are enemies in patrol harder than the raid

Writing that title made me laugh. Seriously, what the hell? Why are the ads easier to kill in the raid than neomuna patrol? This makes ZERO sense. Contest mode was fun, it was challenging but it felt awesome to use the entirety of my build to get through it. I knew the raid would be easier after contest mode, but this….. the raid is easy as hell now lmao. Like actually BORING easy. The modifier for enemies needs to be taken of patrol and put into the raid. The bosses can be left alone for the most part, maybe give nezzy a bit more health. Edit: it blows my mind that people actually think I’m LYING about this. Go into the raid and kill the enemies at the starting bit. Ok now go kill enemies in terminal overload. Which enemies were harder to kill? No, I don’t want the raid to be massively hard, I just don’t want patrol to be [i]tedious[/i]. I wouldn’t mind for the modifier to be taken from patrol and put into the raid because the raid is ENDGAME, baby. Edit2: Changed the title slightly because people are braindead apparently

    Surly it’s made the raid more accessible to the average player, so surely that’s a good thing… after all is normal mode? (When as any normal mode raid been truly hard?) master will be here soon and I’m sure the comments will change from “it’s to easy” to “it’s to hard, please make it easier” If anything the change to now normal is to allow for more players to access it (least that’s what I’m thinking) and a given master will (hopefully) be more to the taste of those complaining it’s to easy. I do agree with some that I seen, contest was a little on the lighter side than I anticipated, but a nice balance in fast paced mechanics, and some dangers with not playing to cover, and a decent amount of ads, but I’m not complaining.. plenty of teams still didn’t complete it neither within 24hrs and 48hrs. Think we just need to wait for hard mode and be considerate and happy that this raid on normal now outside of contest, will and hopefully appeal to more players.

    • All raids need to be legend at base. That’s a -15 power delta. A little easier than contest mode but not too much. Basically the same as legend campaign without all the negative modifiers. That would be perfect imo.

      • Because that's a high level patrol planet. The raid is normal level content. When master comes out for it then you can be happy. We deal with enough changes to difficulty from the hardcore players complaining endlessly don't make normal raid mode impossible too JEEEEEEZIE WEEEEZZZZZZZIE

          Day one was easier then a nightfall lol.. the raid right now is essentially a regular strike pre difficulty increase. You can ignore basically all the adds/let the bosses slam and shoot you without any worries in the world. I do wish the normal raid was a tad harder... Not anything crazy but it's kind of a meme. The entire point to normal is to teach you the mechanics so you are ready for master. Hopefully master brings some semblance of challenge.

          I just found out legend lost sectors on neomuna are actually easier than playing normal ones because legend/master doesn’t cap our light like patrol.

                • Sounds like they should put everything at the easiness of the raid difficulty if that's how difficult it is compared to everything else, people complaining the game is 'too easy' handicap yourself with a crappy build and load out then instead of ruining the game for the MAJORITY.

                  • I'm actually with OP on the raid part. I feel like contest is normal damage enemies and they made this raid easy to make the player base happy or something. Still mechanics held players back cause some guardians can't wrap their brain around 12 planets and only so many can ad. control.

                    • That's what I don't understand, it feels like the raid was perfectly tuned for contest mode. Without stupid modifiers like the Nightfalls and Lost Sectors have. I think the base raid needs to be -5, but other than that I think it's just about perfect. Neomuna patrol on the other hand... Oh boy, what a slog to just move around the map, and don't even get me started on the Terminal Overload. I'm 1810, just exactly how tough are these enemies?

                    • Pretty positive the Raid starts of at light level 1770 and gradually gets harder, not sure what light level the enemy are at the final boss , but going by previous raids am sure its alot higher than 1770.
