Controller snipers are out of control
you literally cant peak them. they dont flinch. You can be shooting them with seraph round ikelos smg, high cal high impact pulse, high cal scout, it DOES NOT MATTER, these kids never miss. My trials team of a 1.94, 2.35, and 2.73, just lost a 4-5 match to a 1.65, 1.8, and 2.15. They were all on controller and all sniping. They never missed a single headshot, despite us all teamshotting, despite them standing in grenades, etc.
Snipers on controller need absolutely no reticle friction, bullet magnetism or anything. All of those things literally counteract any kind of flinch you deal to them. It is mid boggling to me that you guys actually think this is balanced. Snipers are in a good spot on mnk rn because the crazy flinch means you actually have to be quick and get off your shot before someone starts shooting you. That is not the case with controllers. I even threw on a controler for the hell of it the other day just to see, and while I was -blam!- with my movement and primary gunfights (haven't played controller in years), i never missed a single headshot with my sniper by camping in the back and around corners, and I even forgot to put on targetting adjuster!! The fact that a person like me who hasn't played controller since forsaken, can throw on a controller sniper, and never miss a single headshot, is all you need to know. WHY ARE THEY STILL LIKE THIS? After playing on controller it makes sense that there is some aim assist for primaries, but there is no reason one shot kill snipers should get that same treatment.

What you are experiencing is a chronus user. If they shooting through flinch like that it's likely chronus or they've built into flinch resistance like a mo fo. From inspecting people that tends not to be the case. Bungie needs to ban these cheater's. Plain and simple

1 ReplyI consistently challenge snipers using a Scout Rifle, and I am rarely sniped when I get first shot. I am a console player If you think sniping using a controller is easy to do, then go snipe on a controller.

8 RepliesMost of them are probably cheating with a certain third-party input device if you cannot reliably flinch them. I fought a team of triple Peacekeeper Tarrabah snipers and could reliably flinch two of them on PSN, but not one, who was playing on Xbox and was using a cheating device. He also had it programmed to a macro that made him tbag insanely fast when he shot. Reported him and moved on because we all know Bungie does nothing about it.

Nobody will listen to you G, the real ones know how dumb controller is. My advice is to what I do, be good with both inputs and swap depending on the game.

I always find it so funny how easy you guys love to assume stuff but never bother to use the same input and cry about it on the forums. Idk what game you are playing but snipers flinch like crazy, the only way to use them is to land the shot first without taking any damage. I rarely even see snipers anymore because my scout with explosive rounds will decimate them.
