Nope. You can grapple anywhere your heart desires. Even if you aren’t with if range of an object to grapple to you will still anchor to nothing and pull yourself
People seem think it'll work everywhere and buy the Bungo hype. It'll probably work everywhere on Neptune and that's it. Basically making a near useless ability once you finish the campaign.
In footage they've shown us using it in warden of nothing, in same footage said we will be able to use it ANYWHERE, not just the new planet. The new location however has been confirmed to have grapple points that basically refund your grenade so essentially you could chain grapples if there are points close together, the hunters super however will be able to grapple constantly it seems, probably using some sort of kill to keep small amount of uptime mechanic.
To be honest grenade builds are gonna be the meta with strand and I won't be surprised to see alot of non super grapple builds quickly.
So yer hunters will be spidermanning it about maps.
We all know most planets have death barriers and turn backs already out there and there is a limit to most sky boxes, wouldn't be too much work for them to patch old holes especially with certain YouTube guides out there showing all the details.
