Basically the guy said, in words from my own recollection, [i]"'We make games [b][i]*WE*[/i][/b] want to play" sounds too much like we're gatekeeping for balding middle aged white guys, like myself".[/i] I agree with you though, race and age shouldn't ever come into any factor of gaming.

Edited by Olórin: 1/8/2023 7:12:47 PMTbh i doubt that would ever happen since they're already inside of the game and if we're honest, if they were to remove these emblems the game will still exist as is, emblems are purely aesthetic which are fine to me. I'm primarily just talking about the whole mindset of, "we've just judged, speculated and incorrectly profiled our original playerbase, we will sail the ship into a different direction based on this nonexistent fact". On a side note: I think emblems are fine though personally, they don't harm anyone or the game and it's a good way to show support for what you believe in but theres a major difference in a common gamer showing support and an executive lead basing his ideals on what he thinks what race plays what game. It aint that deep its just a dumb comment or mindset to have.

I really am unsure of how any company can unironically state what race or age likes what type of game, its rather odd imo.
