I think Bungie as a company has to ask themselves, "Do we want to be like all the other game developers or do we want to be a cut above the rest?"
I know this is criticism but it's constructive criticism. Bungie has produced iconic videogames. Pathways into Darkness, Marathon, Halo and Destiny. Since their departure from Activision there has been a steep drop in quality and imagination.
I really think Bungie as a company has to do some real soulsearching. How do they want to be seen by their direct consumers, by their competitors and by the general gaming community at large?
These are serious questions that Bungie has to ask themselves from the top on down.
