2 RepliesWe’ll get a destiny movie made by Sony!! Yes Sony! The studio that makes some god awful movies Destiny should at least be better than wow that movie was terrible

1 Reply3.6 billion was to buy Bungie, not to improve the game. Improving the game now rests in the hands of SONY. Destiny is #20 on their list of best selling games Top 10 are Grand Theft Auto V Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Red Dead Redemption 2 Call of Duty: WWII FIFA 18 FIFA 17 Uncharted Spider-Man Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare Fallout 4 FIFA 16 where did you think Sony was going to put money?
-
You do realize that the 3.6 billion went to the private shareholders to buy Bungie. Right? It did not go into Bungie's bank account.
-
4 RepliesWhy do people think Sony was funding Destiny itself?
-
5 RepliesA 5 year old game that is still getting new content every three months?
-
5 RepliesThat money was to fuel the new ip bungie has been developing… they have zero interest in improving destiny beyond barely keeping it alive
-
It’s going into other projects, tv series or films just like halo.
-
2 RepliesI had read $1.2B was for an employee retention program after the buyout. So really it would have been $2.4B to be spent on actual projects.
-
1 Reply3.6 BLN dollar later and what did we get? Cries and whines on the forums.
-
To be fair, I don’t even think the deal was finalized until like last month. Deals like that aren’t done and set in stone right away. But yeah, none of that money will be going into D2 anyway.
-
9 RepliesIt’s billion, or if you’re really so lazy that you need to abbreviate it, bn. If you don’t even know how to spell it, you cannot possibly fathom what that amount of money can do.
-
4 RepliesThat check just cleared, but we still probably won't see any improvements, Bungie will pocket that money and stick to the minimum effort for maximum profit model Thats unless Sony grows a pair and takes control

Worthless game with very little effort put in by bungle and it shows. They try to see how little they can do to charge money for.
-
Time to delete game, enoughs enough

Hardy har har har, you do realize -blam!- takes time, effort, ppl, and community support. 👏

People when they find out business deals like this one don’t immediately take affect. If you don’t know what you’re talking about, why talk at all
-

Been saying that for the last 3 years, 50% of the dlc and items are resold and refurbished.

3 RepliesThis company’s butt has just been bought off by Sony. Guess what?…Sony didn’t buy them out to make changes to Destiny. Sony bought them to make other newer games. Sony also knows this game is a broken and empty game. Sony won’t even touch it!🤣 Sony owns their butts now and yet Sony won’t even touch this broken and empty game. That’s laughable!🤣 Don’t feed the greed! And tell your friends to do the same. It will probably not change. Broken and empty game. Laughable!🤣

2 Repliesthat money went to Bungie's previous owners. If you are expecting any of that to be put into the company let alone the game, you are setting yourself up for disappointment
