The lectern does not work whenever I load in, only Eris works. So I'm starting to think maybe I am missing a quest step somewhere.

Legacy: Shadowkeep (Step 5 of 19) Eris used a Hive Talisman of her own to create the first piece of protective armor. To pass beyond the pyramids warding and discover what lies within, you'll need to wear a full set of Dreambane Armor. Take the first step and hunt the Nightmare of Omnigul. __ Nightmare of Omnigul Defeated. ----------------------------------------------------------------- I also have an Essence of Vanity quest that unlocks the Tranquility gun, but I cannot complete that either.

The only quest on my map is for the Nightmare Hunt: Omnigul, which I cannot complete without the armor (right?).

You can do without the armor. The only time all the armor is needed is when you do the final mission called Beyond

why can't you do the nightmare hunt for omnigul? should be on your moon map.

I need a full set of dreambane armor to proceed past the barriers, which I do not have at the moment.

I figured out the problem, I was breaking the quest by riding my sparrow past the enemies before the nightmares would spawn, thus blocking me in without being able to kill the nightmares and not kill the nightmares to proceed. I am so dumb lmao, thanks for the help though!!!
