I just finished voting. NOTHING for destiny. Bungie doesnt deserve it in my opinion.
Community support?? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahha
That made my day

Bungie's community support is so bad it influenced me to vote in this year's Game awards. LOL
-
3 RepliesHow exactly does Bungie support the community? This makes zero sense. Bungie, you’re not as cool as you think you are. Your community is not even close to being supported by anything but new eververse crap.

1 ReplyJust shows you the quality of other developers and the support they give when Bungie is nominated as a top pick.
-
Slow day uh?
-
1 Replya community support that chooses twitter to answer what they want over theyr own forums... i wonder where game awars gets these ideas...
-
I’d give Bungie an award for virtue signalling. They’re really good at that.
-
10 RepliesMy clanmate just got permanently banned for trying to discuss a topic that Bungie brought up into the game. Bungie replied to another clanmate who was posting about it and they locked his post? These guys spend a chunk of money on the game or did. They may be leaving altogether. I don't know what's going on with Bungie. They weren't like this a few years ago, at least not in my memory.

Best community support in game awards? Seriously?
...seriously not! From my first hand experience, no.
-
2 RepliesHilarious. They will probably win. In the same way the mid-terms went.

Bungie is really good at virtue signaling...

13 RepliesI have a friend who got a week ban today for "hate speech." All he said was that if Bungie truly supports [CENSORED because apparently you can't say this word anymore] then they should allow us to change our characters' genders in-game. Can't appeal, can't ask how this violates ToS or qualifies as hate speech, just silenced for a week because some ninja is power tripping on him. Great customer support Bungie. 👍

I'm currently studying a Masters & have done some CRM (customer relationship management) recently. While I'd never claim to be an expert, I can definitely say that Bungie's CRM is nowhere near as good as it could be. Complaints about lack of maps, for example, have fallen on deaf ears for too long. It's also a one-way dialogue. We play the game in the way that Bungie wants us to but they pay no consideration what we actually want. I and many others could probably give no end of examples as to why this is true. I've got 3300 hours on D2 but Bungie's community support has never been great over the years. I mean, a multi-billion dollar company can't even send out products from it's retail store properly & have a terrible feedback process. This is literally one of the most basic functions any business should be doing: ordering & delivery but even Bungie can't get that right.

62 RepliesBut, but, but they had a free 🌈 transmat and 🌈emblems. Never mind the dumpster fire though.

In order to show us their appreciation, they’ll probably give us the opportunity to purchase another t-shirt now. Thank you for your support, now go buy this t-shirt, it’s our way of giving back to the community by letting you give us more money. Kind Regards, Bungo.

5 RepliesHaving Destiny 2 as "Best community support" is the same as having "Diablo Immoral" as best mobile game.
-
5 Repliesmeh, just this past weekend I matchmade with a guy who went, "sigh, there's my cocaine, I should do some more coke. Why are you AFK? Wait, is this mic on?" I'm not lying, that happened. Another time I had a guy who's wife yelled at him about taking care of the baby, she dropped the baby on his lap, and stormed off, and he talked to the baby like a dog. I swear on my father's grave that happened. So yeah, it's an interesting community, I'll give you that. So yeah, I voted.... yes! It's not dull.
-
I was surprised as well but it's understandable but you guys need to realize it's our fault why they stop communicating with us by looking at this Fourms, reddit and Twitter especially after what just happened recently with Dev in Trials drama is a prime example 😑
-
I also don't understand it, lol.
I just finished voting. NOTHING for destiny. Bungie doesnt deserve it in my opinion. Community support?? Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaahahahahahahahahahha That made my day
Let’s vault everything you paid us for and then win an award for community support lol You can’t make this up
-
10 RepliesBest Community Support in any game I have ever played = No Man's Sky. Bungie has a lot to learn from them.
-
Bungo: we laughed at that nomination also 🤣🤣
-
So Warframe will be the GOTY lmao

Deej....

RECOGNIZING A GAME FOR OUTSTANDING COMMUNITY SUPPORT. TRANSPARENCY AND RESPONSIVENESS, INCLUSIVE OF SOCIAL MEDIA ACTIVITY AND GAME UPDATES/PATCHES
Bungie has been pretty transparent about the changes they're making and the direction they want to go. (TWAB, Twitter, Podcast interviews) They acknowledge bugs as soon as they arise though it sometimes takes a long time to resolve them. Bungie scours social media each week to select a movie of the week and whatever else they do (I dont pay attention to this). Bungie really does release a ton of updates, and they include detailed patch notes on all of them. All in all, Bungie meets the criteria much better than many of the other games I've played.

5 RepliesDigital Extremes give weekly streams about stuff they are working on, known problems, community questions , etc I find Warframe a bit too grindy, but if anyone deserves an award for community support it's DE And Bungie thinks they do ?, how long has artifice armor been bugged with no mentions, how long has Duality been bugged with no updates , and they totally ignore community concerns , they don't even deserve to be in the conversation
