You literally fixed this issue for nightfall but than you don't do the same for the most fun part of the game? Why would restrict people from playing your game when you already restrict so many people from playing your game. It makes no sense just add it in. There's literally no reason why you guys are hiding matchmaking besides the fact that it's to make the game "feel" more impossible. I don't get it. None of my friends play destiny, because there's no one to play the raids with! Look if the excuse is that you could get thrown into a game already far in the raid, maybe you should just make regular matchmaking with randoms that start only fresh raids! Jesus! I don't even work for you guys and I just solved your player base crisis by 90%[/quote]
Raids require communicating. Text chat can work for some, but not for most. A match made team would struggle to do the opening to most raids and next to none would be able to complete one.
Want to raid? Try lfg. Plug in a mic.

If they could throw randoms together and they had the choice to talk, that would be infinitely better. I shouldnt HAVE TO communicate. What if I'm an autistic mute. Not even saying that to be mean.

Not even saying that to be mean.[/quote] You’re only proving why matchmaking in raids would ultimately fail and be a complete waste of both Bungie’s time and resources. When it comes to raids having the choice to talk should never be an option, especially in regards to matchmaking. In your original post you tried to compare Nightfalls to raids and the comparison just doesn’t work. I’ve done plenty of sherpa and teaching runs with two of the six players knowing the mechanics and encounters and even having one player with the inability to communicate makes things much harder and more time consuming than it needs to be. If multiple people match-made into a raid with zero knowledge of the mechanics and virtually no one communicated then it would fail ten times out of ten. I hate to break it to you but if someone is an autistic mute then Destiny and games like Destiny probably aren’t for them, at least not the content that requires communication. Not every game is made for every type of person, it’s that simple.

Look I've played kings fall and vog with mics and even though it was harder, we still got it done because common sense and team effort lead us to winning. Back in destiny 1 I use to run raids all the time without a mic, now I need one to even get in a raid. Not to mention everyone wants an experienced person off rip. There are people who help but they aren't on when I'm on which is usually night so even if I wanted to use a mic I can't because I can't wake people up. I'm just saying randoms that have a mic or randoms that dont can get these down without communication, even if it's harder I prefer to play with randoms and at least try even if we fail horribly. They have the guided games but nobody uses that. And while I agree there are still people who like playing the game and it's just hard in that part so they avoid it because honestly installing this app and sticking around is too much effort for them. Hell it was just annoying to have to download it like this. They should make a chat system similar to Warframes if anything.
