29 RepliesBetter solution, get rid of the flawless pool. Done, fixed. Resetters are gone!
-
remove the loss from the card, remove 1 win from the card when you lose the game, remove the reset option from the card, add a NEW key for an extra chest at the lighthouse that requires 10+ wins at least
-
1 ReplyMake it so if you go flawless youre in flawless pool for rest of season
-
or improve beat win resetters and stop asking for handouts in a competitve mode where the better teams win.
-
6 Replies1. Remove flawless pool 2. Upon loss your card will reset. 3. Cards register fire team members of premade groups. 4. Any changes to the premade fireteam result in a reset of all card holders. 5. Any changes to premade fireteams will lock out those members from playing with each other in trials for 1 hour if a card is not completed.

6 RepliesOr make it so you can only reset a passage if there is a marked loss or you have 7 wins. No in-between.
-
What will that do? People will just reset at 2 wins lmao.

Edited by NightShadow: 11/10/2022 1:53:43 AMThat would be the proper solution... get rid of flawless pool, Trials should be enjoyed when when its live with your friends the entire time, I've had way too many times where I am unable to help my friends because I am on the flawless pool....
-
...and people will just find someother way to get around it. You can't force people to do the right thing, or to act with integrity. Which is why taking this game's PVP....or any pvp that you aren't getting paid to play...."seriously" is just asking for headache and heartache. Not worth it.

3 RepliesThe better answer is much easier. Only allow a reset if the card is flawed. Your solution locks people out of resetting their card entirely if they had a 3 streak. What if they make it to 6th and lose? The flawless is gone but now they can't reset to try again.

Edited by NotCreative123: 11/8/2022 5:44:29 PMMake it cost materials to reset your card with no losses Heck, make it incrementally cost more the more times you reset in a day
-
21 RepliesCan ya just ask for a free flawless card a week. It’s what you guys really want
-
I'm sure Bungie will do that right after they make freelance Trials permanent. Seriously though, Trials cards shouldn't be resetable unless you have a loss.
-
1 ReplyOr no resets til youbhave at least 1 loss

Edited by Asylum: 11/8/2022 4:44:48 PMReseting shouldnt even be a thing. When you buy a card you should be forced to run it out, turn it in and buy a new one. Reseting was always doomed to be some sort of loophole for wanna-bes who think theyre good but really and truely arent, hince why they have to reset to stay in a lower skill bracket. They cant actually compete at the skill level they claim to be at so they would rather be called toxic from staying in lower skill pools than to be called trash cause theyre actually not good at all.
-
Just reset after 2 wins then.
-
Lose a match on purpose. Never reset your card. Gg, you keep avoiding the flawless pool. Players are reseting their card every match so they dont forget and accidentaly go flawless. Flawlesspool shouldnt be a thing honestly. Its only a good thing for below average players (they should improve then) And for carries/recovs that can just benefit from easy matchmaking to do their services.
-
Then they'll reset at 2 wins. This solves nothing.
-
Get rid of flawless pool
-
13 RepliesWe keep complaining about card resetters but refuse to acknowledge the other issue with flawless pool. The people who dont play trials until sunday to wait for flawless pool to activate should not be allowed to be in the non flawless pool. You should have to play x number of matches a week before being allowed to take the easy route

2 Repliespointless

This could be the worst idea yet.

1 ReplyJust get rid of the cards almost entirely.... Like keep their identity of a mercy, extra win, extra loot, ect. If 3rd party apps can track wins and losses then so can Bungie. At anytime of any card of any game, if you have a 7 game streak you're flawless. You can't reset manually. The game is just automatically looking for that 7 game streak. Or the 7-1 in the case of mercy. Now if the stat farmers want to stay out of the flawless pool they have to keep track of their wins and purposely throw matches that have to count as a loss, not a dnf on order to farm... But the best streak they can ever farm is only a 6 win streak.... Want to do a carry to the light house? Well you're going to since you can't reset. Want to loose the first couple games and just play on a flawed card? Can't because the game auto resets after the losses just looking for wins.

Edited by BOSSNONO254: 11/8/2022 2:42:51 PMI say have flawless pool be implemented on a player who is on a 7 win streak, with the exception of the Passage of Mercy. Which would be restricted to 7 wins and 1 loss. But then again, players will still abuse this method. Win farmers can easily just lose two times, get a flaw card, and then rinse and repeat. Or continuously farm an already flawed card. The abuse of the trials win/loss system is always going to be problematic and ongoing. So if it’s the flaw pool and win farmers you are worried about? I’d say remove the flaw pool entirely. But even then, that’ll probably open a can of worms of its own.

26 Replies… at all unless you lose. And one week flawless should mean two weeks flawless pool.
-
8 RepliesNeeds to be 1 win or else resetting will still happen. The condition needs to be: can't be reset until the card is "busted." So for mercy card 2 losses, all others 1 loss.
