Since dungeons are 3 man raids, shouldn't dungeon chests drop spoils?
If YES, Please bungie make chests drop spoils.
-
Sounds good to me
-
Yes, but less. Maybe 2 per encounter. Better than nothing.
-
Yes, but less than raids. By either half or a little less than half
-
Why would anyone say no when it would only benefit them lmao
-
It would be a nice change and give players that want to farm them options other than running full raids or checkpoint farming.
-
Of course.
-
I'm okay with it. I think maybe a small amount, or maybe only if you get all encounters done in one go. As it is, there's not a lot of incentive to do dungeons, but it's often another "big ticket item" when a new expansion comes up. (2 dungeons next year! On top of a new raid!) So it'll be cool to give dungeons *something* extra.
-
Maybe the master dungeons
Since dungeons are 3 man raids, shouldn't dungeon chests drop spoils? If YES, Please bungie make chests drop spoils.
Spoils are used exclusively for raid loot, hence why they require raids.
-
1. 3 man raids is a bit of a stretch. More like strikes with extra mechanics. 2. No. No buying raid weapons with dungy spoils. Rad weapons should require doing raids.
-
Yes, Dungeon spoils for Dungeon loot and Raid spoils for Raid loot.
-
13 RepliesNo. Spoils buy raid weapons. You should only get spoils from raids.
-
If dungeons had a chest at the end that allowed us to spend them on dungeon gear then yes, but getting currency from dungeons that can only be used in raids doesn't seem appropriate.
-
They aren't raids. They're Dungeons. You shouldn't get raid gear unless you do the raid.
-
There not 3 man raids, a dungeon can be completely solo the way its intended no cheeses, skipping encounters things like that, raids have to be cheesed to get anything solo done.
-
Dungeons are dungeons, raids are raids.
-
6 RepliesToo easy to farm a dungeon encounter compared to a raid encounter. It wouldnt make sense to have the best raid spoil farming outside of raids. Also dungeons arent raids. They are too simple in design and mechanics to be considered as such
-
8 RepliesThey shouldn’t. Reason is then people would just farm dungeons and not the raids. Then they will go in the raid and use their spoils to get the thing they want.
-
No. Spoils are for raid weapons. Makes sense to go into a raid to obtain said spoils.
-
1 ReplyHell no.

Edited by WinterSolstice: 11/7/2022 2:17:15 PMThey aren't 3 man raids they are just tougher strikes. Maybe Nightfalls on Legend and above should grant spoils? Maybe Trials should grant spoils? A lot of things in the game recommend 3 players but can be done soloed yet none of those give spoils because a raid requires effort and a team compared to just recommending it. And Bungie even gave solo players a slow method of getting spoils. They're even adding an ingame lfg so people can find a team. Edit: Add Dungeon spoils instead where you can buy Dungeon weapons and armor.

I have struggled to find time to do the Raids, which I get locks me out of some of the deepsight weapons from that activity along with been able to purchase with spoils at the end of the boss encounter. However I don't get why Forsaken weapons are locked behind a Spoils purchase system when others are ciphers, materials etc. If they dropped the need for spoils requirement on Forsaken weapons then I'd be totally happy with current system and perhaps a specific currency for dungeon deepsight stuff.
-
Spoils are Raid currency not Dungeon currency, when you want spoils then play a Raid.
-
As a farmable drop? No. As a once a week thing with the pinnacle drops sure why not.
-
1 ReplyNo, but there should be a new, similar currency for dungeons, as well as chests added to the end of dungeons to use them in to farm rolls.

Dungeon Spoils. To purchase red borders, rerolls, and armor that you want from the Dungeon
