Dawnblade was the point for warlocks that needed addressing.
I was happy to see some of those changes coming.

20 RepliesEdited by The Legend Himself: GONZO: 11/4/2022 3:13:12 AMYou’d be surprised at the number of trolls that will tell you that there’s nothing wrong with Daybreak in PvE, lol.

10 RepliesMy favorite part about dawnblade is that you can't even go fast with the super without equipping strafe glide. Can't forget about the part where it has the longest super cooldown.
-
There's changes bud. 2 in fact: .Restoration x2 is getting nerfed .Rifts are no longer stacking with Restoration Of course warlocks needed another nerf. We as a community need every opportunity to reduce their effectiveness 🤷♂️🤦♂️

Yeah, Daybreak in pve feels like throwing five or six taco bell mild sauce packets at enemies. Then you have to wait nearly five minutes in line to get five to six more packets of mild sauce.
-
2 RepliesIt’s great as is, everyone needs to stop being dramatic.
-
5 RepliesNot everything has to be OP in pve. In pvp Dawnblade is one of the best supers for pvp so what if it is not as good in pve. Well is real good in pve and somewhat good in pvp see where I am going with this?

Two words Bungie: Solar buddy. When Strand comes out it will have a buddy ability per your vidocs. Why no solar buddy?

1 ReplyWarlocks are the unloved stepchild ....

4 RepliesIt’s almost like Daybreak should be a water sword. It doesn’t ignite,it doesn’t scorch, it doesn’t heal, it doesn’t empower and it doesn’t even grant heat rises and it doesn’t spread scorch What does it do? 5-6 sword throws at best Kills about 10-20 enemies at best Takes about a minute per enemy killed to recharge Fair and Balanced supposedly…

Dawnblade is the subclass. Daybreak is the super. I agree that it should be buffed, but at least write down the correct thing. Please edit your post.

7 RepliesDaybreak shouldn't even exist as a Super anymore. They got rid of everything that finally made it a decent Super (Everlasting Fire, the bonus damage from Dawn Chorus, the chained explosions from bottom tree Igniting Touch). Now, you can just throw on Sunbracers, Solar Grenades, and Touch of Flame, and outclass it in every way: damage, duration, and add clear. Seriously. That build does almost 2x the damage of Daybreak with Dawn Chorus equipped, and can clear a wide area far better. I wouldn't mind them replacing Daybreak with the Radiance Super from D1 Sunsinger, but given how strong you can make Solar and Fusion Grenades, that would probably be overkill.

They changed it, they nerfed Restoration!
-
Of course there were changes! Restoration was nerfed and no longer stacks with well. Move along now, off you go warlock.

Weewoo weeewooo, wambulance here, who needs assistance?

3 RepliesWarlock Solar is so -blam!- that it kind of needs a complete rework. Preferably guided by someone who didn't make decisions about Solar Warlock 3.0. It's terrible work, really.

Solar got changes...... nerfs and a minor melee update.
