What im expecting from the Final Shape (2nd witness-focused campaign)
I’m guessing its going to be an apocalypse. The guardians light is near death and have to resort to the darkness in order to survive and kill The Witness. In this I’m also guessing the Witness’ power will be revealed and maybe even some backstory to his disciples and the Witness himself. Another aspect might also include what the Darkness and the Light have done in order to “play” this game of “tag” (mentioned in Witch Queen i think). Final Shape sounds like this: either the Traveler or the Witness wins. Another thing i though is: what if the Witness isn’t the voice behind the pyramids?? What if there is another person? Are there more travelers? Are the planets that disappeared long ago not gone, just stored away for future events or plans? Will the guardians become dark guardians? What happens to Zavala, as he clearly shows his disagreement with using the Darkness? Who is the voice behind the Light? There are lots of things, but it leads to the voices behind the two forces. Comment down below your thoughts on the lore I explained!

My guess is the traveler probably gets seriously wounded in lightfall, hence the name. Maybe we learn how to wield the light (a fundamental force of nature) without the ghosts or the traveler, just as we dont need the seed of darkness to wield stasis. The only way to truly stop this endless war is to get rid of both the light and darkness (old grimoire card asks us the question “would you be willing to give up your light in order to stop the darkness”. I doubt this happens though since it seems the game will continue.
