Iron banner mode ain't too bad this time
Much more enjoyable game mode, perhaps there are some bugs but its been too hectic to notice.
Could this be a problem free mode, no complaints so far from me

Couldn't disagree more. I haven't hated many activities or modes in Destiny. Eruption is one of them. It's been misery so far. I'll still guild my seal, but only because it's my one PvP seal.

When I have to use citans ramparts in a 6v6 mode to counter the camping snipers/scouts, it’s a terrible mode. Why doesn’t anyone want to fight? All I keep doing is playing the entire round standing in the back winning or losing 125-128. That is so boring. I hate it. I usually try to run up but my team won’t come with me. I get team killed, therefore I’m forced to play back. Everyone is camping on abilities and supers. It’s not fun at all 👎

1 ReplyIt needs a few little things but I love the mode. One, get rid of the wall hacks on the people with erupt. Two, try to keep super large maps out of the que.

It’s definitely more engaging, but being Iron Banner the lag & teleporting players is forever present! 😂

If you're not in an organized group everybody just chases red on their radar and feeds the enemy team, plus the game mode incentivizes all of the aim botters and other cheaters that plague crucible in this game (looking at you guy who domes me across the map with a freaking forerunner.)

1 ReplyI hate this mode for the same reason why I dislike clash. It promotes camping and only playing lanes you're comfortable playing. There is no objective, no reason to push unless you've got a 5+ kill streak. It's also way too easy for a player to snowball if they have a roaming super as they hit they 5 streak. Iron Banner should be an objective game mode.

Don’t expect to win a match if you don’t play with a group of at least four. Really hard to snowball otherwise. This feels like a mode catered to high end players to offset the bad feeling they are having from the new control list. First impressions… I liked rift better. (Edit) Freelance wasn’t much better. This is deathball the game.

Not having the same experience remotely. I know the SBMM in the Control playlist is having some issues; but one thing is really evident. Wide skill gaps in matches absolutely cause lobby balancing to become non-existent. Every single match today has been a lopsided blowout. Playing PVP this way plain sucks.

4 RepliesLmao at all you who use this app to whine about not winning and not having fun. You can't click the fireteam button to find an lfg group to get some wins? Do you polish your participation trophies as a way to cool down after getting pub stomped? In this era of Destiny pvp its stack up to win or prepare to lose, plain and simple. Adapt, if losing isn't fun then do what it takes to win. Don't want to put in that much effort? Then go run some public events and probably not make them heroic, or whatever else you do in game that isnt raids or GMs obvioulsy... the best part is you will reply to this with fiery hatred, wasting time to get an lfg group together and maybe win a match... you just like to complain, admit it

I found it very confusing the first dozen games I played. It still doesn't make sense in regards to the voice over and the action. Our guy has a defend icon but he's supposed to attack or die? They need to work on this a bit more. Feels like a beta test.

Better than rift, still worse than control. Clash = Passive players and camping fests = boring/lopsided games.
