Heya Guardians,
im already a Destiny player since a pretty long time, and at the same time a cosplayer. Now i wanted to connect those two passions of mine and start cosplaying and building weapons from Destiny 2. The problem is, that i need a 3D model or atleast different views on the weapon (best would be side, front, back and top).
Sadly ingame i cant rotate the weapon while inspecting it, and when i look on a different player holding it in theire hand or on theire back, the resolution isnt good enough to see all the details.
Does any of you know a software, a programm, a wesbite or a folder with files where you can see the different sides in detail or can look at weapons in detail?
Would be really helpfull to get some tips on this topic!!
Thanks in advance! <3

Edited by billycdc: 5/6/2026 1:37:52 PMI ran into the same wall trying to build Ace of Spades from vague in-game inspection spins. It’s frustrating when you need clean front and top views but all you have is a blurry third-person angle. What actually worked for me was using dedicated model repositories that specialize in game assets. One place I’ve personally found useful for clean, print-oriented files is https://www.gambody.com/ – they provide proper orthographic previews with each model, so you can see side, back, and top without guessing. I built my last prop using just those reference images from their listing, not even printing it. The key is to find any source where the model is rotated in a viewer or rendered from fixed angles. Don’t chase perfect in-game screenshots; look for seller galleries that already did the hard work of showing every side. Saves hours of head scratching.

1 ReplyHello there This is the site I have used for 3d printing. You will still have to work with the files to make printable but the data is there http://www.destinystlgenerator.com/
