I’ve ran at least 30 runs of todays helmet legend lost sector hoping to get a better loreley but instead I haven’t had anything. Some runs I just get nothing, not even an enhancement core. I really think they need to either up the drop chance by a lot or make it so your guaranteed an exotic every 5 runs at least
-
I really don’t mind the drop rate I guess. I just wish there was some roll protection. Finally got a Loreley to drop, the roll was -blam!- or 58. So it’s useless. I’m not gonna bust my build just to put an exotic in that has shite stats.
-
Or they want you to do the master

1 ReplyAll RnG my friend seems to be a better chance if you get all Champions without dying apparently I've noticed

8 RepliesI don't get why people claim this. Star Eaters, first run That double smoke bomb hunter one starts with an O, first run Curass Falling Star, first run And like 5 more first run. There was ONE that took me like 4 runs. But these complaints are new, constant, and always trending. Either people have shitty RNG and won't get over it, or the opposite, Bungie nerfed drop rates on purpose.

You know everyone's going to have a varied experience. If you got yours in the first run you wouldn't be posting anything about it. But you also know other people really aren't posting about it because a lot of them do get good luck. That's how RNG works. I didn't get anarchy from The raid until they allowed us to farm and they had to put on a guaranteed drop after the 8th time. Guess how many times I needed to run it on top of all the other times I've ran it before I got anarchy? That's how it works.

People claiming to get drops left & right are either A. Lying. B. Getting new exotics which is expected and/or C. Haven't done them as of this season bcs they've nerfed the **** out of drops for anything that isn't new to your character.

Bungo reads the post “They drop every time in the Eververse store for Silver” 🤭
-
Once you get the exotic, your best bet is to play something else like Gambit, Strikes, or Crucible. Then it drops randomly. As I've unlocked those exotics from Lost Sectors I've never gotten the same drop in a better roll so skip that part.
-
I stopped running exotics lost sector. I don’t want to spend my free time running a destiny lost sector for hours. Lost sectors are meant for folks who have an unhealthy gaming addiction Sad but true
-
1 ReplyIf you getting platinum on each run it should be about 25% on legend and 33% on master. The issue is that if you don't get an exotic you basically get nothing for you time. If the activity was more rewarding it wouldn't feel so bad having to do multiple runs.
-
1 ReplyI think it took me 20 Tries to get a dookie Omnioculous, 3 hours wasted
-
Once you have unlocked an exotic each run can result in any exotic for that slot to drop. Unless there are some you haven't unlocked yet. Tldr - a very inefficient method.
-
I farm great rolls no problem sounds like you expect grolls in first try
-
7 RepliesReal question is why have a Master version of LS if the drop rate is the same?
-
I've doing legend lost sectors for months specifically for legs. For this day June's 15th/16th it looks like is impossible to have a drop. Usually drops works as should be but there are sometimes and some lost sectors have something strange other than rng to mess up the runs
-
Do you see unicorns dropping from the sky on the reg? Hence the word EXOTIC.
-
2 RepliesJust for anyone in the thread, my experience this season on day one actually, which was leg day, I got the new warlock boots first try. It's just one of those things I guess. Pretty good roll too.
-
Play master solo flawless, it’s the highest drop chance, my evidence for this keeps growing as I run more and more of them. I’d say drop chance is around 30% when you run master flawless, vs a legend is only 10% drop chance
-
1 ReplyYou want a guaranteed exotic? Tell Bungie you would pay real money for one.
-
10 RepliesIt's a flat rate 25% chance of getting an exotic, which is absolutely fine. It will drop the exotic you don't have 1st, making it even better. I genuinely never understand people's complaints regarding this, I don't know what people are expecting. Legend sectors take 5 minutes, so on average you're getting an exotic every 20 minutes, are people honestly expecting it to be more frequent than that? Can people not see how that would completely break the game economy?
-
I’ve ran 7 and dropped 4 exotics. All that I didn’t have

-
I dunno if it’s me, but I tend to get the new exotic in 5-10 legendary platinum runs. I have no desire to farm those things more than the bare minimum.

I was farming star-eater scales and after about 10 runs they literally dropped from a random enemy, so I was mad but at the same time not. I mean I still got an exotic to drop from completion so I can't complain, only problem is that probably ate all my RnG for the rest of the year. Anyway yeah they really need to increase the drop rate but I feel as though they keep it low because they're wanting to encourage you to get a team and farm high level activities like master NF, but at that point what was the reason to allow solo-able lost sectors with the opportunity to get exotics. Who knows anymore.

1 Replydid 6 runs yesterday and only thing I got was telesto catalyst! its really buggy I tell ya!
