They won’t. They probably spent 4+ months of Dev time creating this system that NOBODY asked for. Then, they proceeded to lie about it in the TWAB by making it seem like it would reward aim skill if you didn’t build into it.
Somebody needs to step in and stop whoever is making these changes for PvP. They are killing one of the only appealing aspects of PvP in this game.

You are outright garbage if you can’t hit mid air shots in this update. Hit detection is a bit off at higher values but accuracy is almost dead on even at lower values. It’s just less aim assist and more accuracy.

Those boots NEEDED a nerf. Sorry to tell you this but they were the #1 most used exotic in PvP solely for the fact that you could press your jump button twice and already be at the skybox. Something needed to happen to fix them and this change allowed them to keep their mobility while also making it more difficult to just ape people mindlessly.

Ok that's a really weird insult. "Stick to doing this in-game activity" is an insult now? People enjoy different things about the game but when they change things in the game we have to adapt. It's been this way for years and it's not likely to change. I don't understand the attachment to stomp33s when there are other (and arguably better) hunter exotics. But hey if you like em you can still wear em. Just stay on the ground I guess. You can still zoom zoom with them.

It’s not just that exotic, it’s in-air accuracy as a whole. I used that as an example because nobody on these forums can come 3 tap me in the air with them in a private match, that’s how bad the change is.

What’s the point? Are you trying to prove that stompees aren’t a crutch anymore? They work as intended, lowering aim assist to the minimum multiplier while in air.

I never claimed to be a great at this game, what I claimed is that YOU are garbage if you’re complaining about not hitting shots. They outlined exactly how the reduced aim assist would work and it works exactly how they said it would.

How am I proving you wrong? Your brain dead statement was that this is so much worse than it was before and that nobody asked for it. It’s an incorrect statement, but killing you with a hand cannon and stompees isn’t proving anything, only that the changes are working as intended. Before the change, in air accuracy was a complete rng mess unless you had an Icarus mod, which made it work almost perfectly. Bungie said that’s dumb and most of the community agreed, so it got changed.
