Thats the worst. You did this before and it was terrible on so many levels. Now we could use sunset weapons in there. Which I thought was a huge reason why you brought back the power level requirement for that and trails. Idk. Seems stupid to me. And a side note for Ggames fix the common drops cause they are not dropping. Lol. The uncommon drops are dropping every run tho. Lol.

I wonder why we have extra power level. It's disabled in trails, iron banner and grandmaster, all the places you would need it. I think it's nonsense, just a grind to make up for lack of stuff to do on a general day

People are just going to use the same meta/cheesy weapons. Over half the player base uses the same stuff and doesn't change until a new weapon plants itself in the meta. Most sunset weapons don't even have as good of a variety of perks that the new ones do. If anything it should be beneficial creating more diverse load outs. The only weapon I could see be used more is revoker... but if someone needs revoker to get sniper kills I wouldn't be worried about them hitting their shots

Bungie probably wants the mode to be more inclusive and enlarge the player pool.

5 RepliesSo how many sunset weapons do you see used now in quickplay? Because for me its 0. Iron banner wont change that.

You should be able to use what ever you want. Point is Destiny has done this before in the launch of D2 for the causal players and it was terrible, To both IB and Trials. Back in the beginning of D1 IB was a pvp end game type content way before trials was a thing. Then they they disabled light/level furniture when D2 launched and IB was like regular crucible. There was nothing Iron Banner about it and they did that to trials as well. Thats when D2 was terrible. Hawthorne giving out trials and raid and gambit gear to people who never play it just cause they are in a clan. They made it to where people didn't even need to play to aquire gear. If they just made D2 how D1 was during taken king. It be sick. IMO

While sunset weapons can be used, they’re likely going to be uncommon. I rarely see sunset weapons inside of QP.

Here's where you are wrong about sunset weapons. There is no level advantages in Crucible right now. Nothing is stopping you from going into Control with Luna's Howl, Not Forgotten, Revoker, Mountain Top, Recluse. Any sunset weapon. Your power level does not matter in crucible right now so let's address the fact, that no one uses these weapons ever as is. Reality is the game has changed so much from so many nerfs and buffs since these weapons were the -blam!-, the meta is different and sunset weapons are exactly that, sunset aka their values.

Oh no! Sunset weapons! Whatever will we do?

They literally explain why in the twab
