Unlink Steam account from cross save
I need to remove a Steam account from my Bungie profile, but I can't authenticate the Steam profile because it's been deleted. Is there anyway to request for it to be removed so I can add my new one?

Unfortunately, there is no way to remove a linked account from [url=https://help.bungie.net/hc/en-us/articles/360049498031-Destiny-2-Cross-Save-Guide]Cross Save[/url] if it cannot be authenticated; deleted accounts fall victim to this as well. There is no way to request for a removal because Bungie is not able to forcefully remove any platform accounts from a Cross Save setup. This also means that your Cross Save setup is stuck and none of the accounts can be unlinked because all accounts need to be authenticated before Cross Save can be deactivated.
