Scorn Crossbow weapon dealing way too much damage
Anybody just one shot by red bar scorn who wield the crossbow even with full health, high resilience, and resistance mods?

1 ReplyThey oneshot you in Master Wellspring, Master and GM nightfalls, Master Weekly Story Mission, Legendary Story Missions, and more! It is rediculous cause you can't dodge it. You can't see it coming. And it kills you regardless having max resilience, and all the mods you can get to "counter" its damage. But Bungie already acknowledged this. They said they are going to address it next season. Why it takes an entire season to fix the damage output of an enemy is beyond rediculous, but they are pretending like it is a complicated glitch, rather than what it really is, changing the damage number from what it is to a lower number. Whoever did this for the Witch Queen launch probably still randomly bursts out laughing knowing they have something still trolling all of us.

Seven Hive ogres focusing on me and stomping simultaneously? Kill the Scorn crossbow. Oryx comes back in real life and starts to demolish my actual house while I’m late for an exam in a class I didn’t even know I was taking at a school I graduated from twenty years ago? Kill the Scorn crossbow.

If they dropped exotics after you killed them or granted 1,000,000 xp, Bungie would address issue asap.

They're the ones called Raider and I prioritize them. Better said by the other funny post but thought I'd add who to target. If you fire on a Lurker just trying to clear all red bars, a Raider will free you from ur head

It gets even stranger, I started timing a vertical jump to avoid the shot, sometimes it works, sometimes the shot TRACKS me...I jump and the shot will turn 90 to 100 degrees vertically to hit me....at the very least, one has to be very mobile and dodgey....guess it is what it is....

DMG can say this is a glitch all he wants but this is intended by Bungie since it's a scorn focused season. Just like they conveniently left the acute burns in GMs after they said that was a mistake. They will do anything to prevent advancement and pseudo power creep, except they continue to release busted weapons and abilities each season.

Yup, even when in just doing patrols, those crossbows leave me with a sliver of health. There's clearly something wrong with the damage they're dealing.

Agreed, it's been one-shoting me quite a bit lately. l'm actually more jealous than mad though, I needs me one of them there crossbows... Well ok, it is pretty annoying lol. 😂
