Collective Obligation is an exotic that’s doomed to fail
Collective is a very bad exotic if you don’t run void and seeing how the other 3.0s are coming out next season collective becomes just a pulse rifle with slightly above average stats. What happened to the raid exotic power houses

8 RepliesIt’s fun and really op now, especially in higher end activities like GMs….. it will still be good when the next 3.0s come out because u can proc all 3 with the right setup, even without seasonal mod volatile flow. Just enjoy it now, new stuff will come out and then u can enjoy that then. Vex isn’t that great now, but when solar 3.0 drops Im sure it will be a monster again. Things have a rotation

6 RepliesIt's not doomed to fail. It was purely designed to synergize with void.......I fail to see the problem here. Don't sweat it though I'm sure Bungie will give something to go with Arc and Solar in time.

I want to try it before going to hard on it, but it takes more work than other raid exotics to use. It lets yo pocked 3 void debuffs even if your not running void damage. You can also juggle the buffs if a fire team member also has the gun. I see a lot of use in that but haven't been able to try it yet.

It's meant to be used in a group where everyone else is using it, letting you siphon Void effects and dispense them out practically for free, constantly, in a loop. Outside of that situation, it's very underwhelming and even in that situation you're likely just doing it for fun. On its own it's pretty sad.
