Okay maybe that’s a little extreme but matchmaking does seem a little off. I consistently match stacked teams farming their stats and using every broken or annoying gun, ability, or exotic to try and get a better kd. Maybe I’m the only one having this problem but it really isn’t fun to have a game go to time with a 60-50 score or a game where the enemy team goes full Vin Diesel and sticks together like family lol 😂 maybe freelance control would help?
Control has become trench warfare
It's all part of their renewed focus in PvP plan. 1 vs 6 matches is the way to go! If Rambo can do it, I'm sure Vin Diesel can! LMAO!!!

Best way to run any crucible mode is with a team. Solo's really have no excuse anymore - i mean a team of well organized Marines is going to have better odds than 6 lone wolves with bigger ego than brains. Plus, very few people play the objectives anymore. They rely on the canon fodder to cap points, and then complain that those same people end up with a 0.5 kd/a because they get melted by 3 stacks all game

Destiny is easy to cheese when you have a team. Solo queue is a painful experience if you want to win. I play solely just to see how many kills I can get now since I don't have a team anymore.

10 RepliesYou have to image for every win in a multiplayer game someone else is loosing. For some reason destiny in the only game I have seen where the community is consistently angry about loosing. At the end of the day solo cueing and having everyone else on your team go negative isn’t bungies fault. My theory is destiny is all round a very easy game. This leads to people playing pve and then they start thinking they are much better than they are. You then load into pvp where most of the people your fighting don’t run at a straight line towards you or stand still missing all their shots. To clarify I don’t blame the community for always thinking they deserve to win. Facing reality can be difficult for some.

4 Repliesi'd like to give just a little insight. I play with my clan mates alot. most of the time it's just 2-3 of us in crucible, but we do 4-6 stack a good bit. The reason is not that we want to farm stats. I can generally get the same kind of stats regardless of fireteam size. The reason we do like to stack is to eliminate as many blueberries on our team as we can. Matchmaking is god awful and makes the player experience terrible. We all generally have a much better time with more people in our fireteam. Does it suck for our opponents? i'm sure it does, but it's a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. terrible teammates can't kill enemies fast enough/consistently, which puts a strain on the better players having to face multiple enemies per engagements. When I solo que or play with just 1 other clanmate, I find myself having to 1V3-4 very often. It has made me a better players, but damn my mental can only be strained for so long lol

Matchmaking has been a mess in everything, even strikes

Shame is scrapped my trench barrel then!

1 ReplyQuick play has become control.

2 RepliesFreelance is a bad solution for bigger problems. Quickplay MM is terrible. You get matches with people around the world, what affects very hard the connection of the lobbies. Then how the game is making the teams even with 12 solo player is stupid. SBMM is bad, but that doesn't mean you don't need Teamdivision. he most matches you give or get mercirule. Trials for example needs no Freelance, it needs more gear with the Start of a DLC. We got only 1 weapon this season. Thats why the playerpool is very low. People ask themselves: "Why should I play trials?" Less player in the pool means sweaty matches. When the playerpool is big (around 30k Teams at the same time)then even 0,9 K/D People are able to go flawless

Servers keep booting people/People leaving cause they're losing Putting people into matches to lose due to up reasons Worst lobby balancing possible (ex: 6 plat-dia elo vs 3 bronze 2 gold 1 plat elo team) Ability spam patch right after they announced ability should not be a main thing in gunfight No New maps for 3 years Maps way too short for current movement meta making shotgun and fusion dominant Connections making ghost bullets, melees Bungie keep saying they'll look into pvp but won't do much for a years Yeah, whatever. I see no hopes in this pvp.

I understand people get mad when someone says get good but are they lieing? I have pretty good KD and it's not from farming KDs with stack teams and even if I am playing with a team for example yesterday I would be get 3.0 kds at the end of the match and they be getting negative KDs so because you playing against team doesn't mean they are all good plus nothing makes me feel better than slapping a team with 2.0 kds or higher because to me personally you didn't earn that KD you farmed for that KD with better players on your team if you can't run solo and get that KD or higher then you just as bad as someone with out it but anyways I always aim to to better and this idea of I have a terrible Kd because yes matching making is terrible has became a lame reason if you honestly want to better then you have to play against people that are honestly better to improve, yes it's annoying when people just camp or use toxic set ups or just dont even use a primary once during the game but every player good or bad faces that same problem

I think rewards for winning teams should never be gun rewards only cosmetic

Freelance doesn't solve the issues that plague the Crucible. Proper matchmaking needs to be implemented.

🤣🤣🤣 family

Do you ever feel that some teams are simply awarded the connection advantage . I don’t need to compete against both a 3.2 KDA and a connection . It always feels that way whenever we play anyone that is not on the same system as mine but especially against PC players .

3 RepliesThere is no QuickPlay. Bungie removed this queue 9 months ago when gamers wanted to choose their match type. They were leaving a match as soon as it began. Matchmaking was not quick anymore. Bungie’s solution to improve matchmaking time was crossplay. QuickPlay was a short-lived queue that provided random Control and Clash matches through one queue. It is long gone and never coming back. Control has replaced QuickPlay. Read the description before you click on the queue.

Of course freelance would help. But that would split the non existing playerbase for pvp that's left in half. And even the cringe stinky gamer chair kids would stop playing pvp after getting stomped by other stacks. So that would essentially lead to a more dead pvp mode. Thats wy Bungie lets the cringe stacks run rampant.
