I think it is in Microsoft’s hands…
If Microsoft plays friendly with their blizzard/activision acquisition.. nothing to worry about.
But if Microsoft starts pulling things…
Sony has no choice to follow against a monopolizing company like Microsoft.
Just like why Sony starting pulling the exclusive punches after Microsoft did said things with the 360.

As much as it pains me to say this, I doubt either side will play nice. Look at how long ago Microsoft bought Rare, and they've barely done anything with them since. They've only just recently started letting Nintendo do stuff with Banjo after over twenty years. And we all know how stubborn Sony can be when it comes to their console exclusives. Look at how long it took them to get on board with cross play.
