So how exactly does your anti cheat work?? Cause I’m still seeing blatant aimbots in crucible. I know I’m not allowed to name drop people, but the last match I was in there was a dude that only hit headshots (messenger with desperado proc the entire game) he ended the game 48 kills and a 6.8 k/d (all his deaths were from supers) also his clan mate was getting some sketchy moves too, would high jump then immediately be back on the ground. Reported both of them but I feel like that the report button is just there for looks.

Simple solution, buy an Xbox. It's you're fault for playing on such a flawed platform.

2 RepliesFunny how posts like these get voted into a very deep hole... (I up voted)

9 RepliesActual aimbots are exclusive to pc, not possible on console.

1 ReplyStep 1 trials/crucible report Step 2 (if they are actually cheating) clip the game Step 3 report and send to bungie Step 4 play against the cheaters again in a week 😁

So if someone has a 30.5 KD it will probably ban them if they have alot of matches played since thats not a natural KD

2 RepliesProbably was just abusing a controller

While a lot better than before, you cannot eliminate cheating 100%. It's not unheard of to get only crits if you know how to aim, and I've played with teammates who do it fairly consistently in Trials since the hit box is fairly generous. As far as I know, there is no cheatcode that allows someone to jump, and appear on the ground immediately after - that seems more of a lag issue. Reporting has netted in thousands of players being banned that have been proven to be cheaters - they don't ban suspected ones because so many people blame "cheating" on their own inabilities, so they have to filter through them with a fine tooth comb

Here is how things work... With PC players if Battleye detected something then that account is automatically banned. On top of Battleye Bungie uses a number of other industry standard and home grown detection systems for PC and consoles. If these detect something that account is flagged for investigation by Bungie staff. With the report function it takes a number of people reporting that account but at a certain limit that account is then flagged for investigation by Bungie staff. Bungie know about false reports (yes people report others if they list a match to them or just don't like someone's loadout) so Bungie SRT investigates that flagged account. If reason is found the account is then banned. However due to the need to investigate and the number of flagged accounts it can take time for someone to be banned if caught cheating. Every day we see people kicking off on the #Help forum page about being banned. These are just the ones who want to claim innocents ("I did nothing gov"), ignorance or just saying "it was just once and not a big thing so can I have a second chance". Most know what they did and know the negative response from the Destiny community they will receive so stay quite. Look... at the end of the day there are no longer lone programmers in basements creating cheats. Now it is highly organised teams of well supported programmers with a full distribution or even subscription services to distribute their work. They will always find ways to bypass the latest anti-cheat systems (and as Battleye is well known and heavily used a high priority target for cheat creators to bypass). Bungie regularly updates their systems but they do not say anything as any information can be used by cheat creators and users (in fact the last time Bungie did announce a anti-cheat update was a month after the update went active). Also to note is that D2 is not the worst game for cheating. So please if you SUSPECT someone of cheating use the in game report system or the report form found on Bungie.net. If you want to avoid all cheaters then the only option is to stop playing online games.

It’s immensely difficult to get cheats on console and requires an actual good hacker (not some paid service 12 year old). You could play for a decade and face MAYBE one person who has done it. They were probably just good players and the one teleporting had a bad connection to you or vise versa.

3 RepliesIt does nothing probably, it straight up doesn't exist on console.
