You will need to purchase Beyond Light on Stadia if you wish to equip Stasis on that platform.

I figured that, but the guy I replied to says otherwise.

No, they said your Cross Saved PSN characters can access Xbox licenses when logging into Destiny 2 on Xbox.

So PSN can use dlc bought on Xbox but stadia can't? I have forsaken dlc on PSN but had to purchase it on Xbox after it was removed from gamepass in order to have access to forsake content on Xbox.

No, DLC is only available on the platform where it was purchased: Destiny 2: Cross Save Guide
you should know that your PSN characters will be able to use the DLC on the Xbox platform.
That's what I thought, but this was worded in a way that seemed otherwise.

Cross Save makes the characters on one platform, I'm your case your PSN characters, appear on all your linked platforms. As such, if you have DLC on Xbox, your PSN characters via Cross Save can use those licenses on Xbox. If you break Cross Save, your PSN characters, and their progress, will only appear on your PS4/PS5. If you never created characters on the Xbox, or they are really old, then you may be effectively starting over with those characters on Xbox. Cross Save is intended to be a one and done type of thing, where all platforms use one unified set of characters. DLC is platform bound, so you can only use DLC that you have purchased on a specific platform when you are playing on that specific platform. The exception to this are season passes. Those are purchased using Silver (or granted from the Deluxe Edition) and are bound to the platform characters directly. They will pass through to other platforms when you have cross save enabled. Again, if you disable cross save, any season passes you have bound to your PSN characters will stay on those characters.

Yes, I understand now. The characters I have are from PSN and are used on other platforms, thus if removing PSN as the main account, I then lose those characters for the other platforms and will have to start over. Sorry for any hassle I've caused in the confusion.
