Destiny 2 support for Unix based OS

Hi! I would really appreciate if there will be a possibility to run Destiny 2 on Linux. Basically - Battle Eye is already supported on Unix based systems. The only thing that prevents users from running D2 on Linux OS is AFAIK D2`s built in anticheat. Please, schedule some work for Unix compatibility. Right now Your game is the only reason why I`m keeping Windows OS on my PC Best regards, Yurii P.S. Happy Holidays

They have been working on getting it tuned to work with anti-cheat software for greater compaitability when it releases.

    • If you want another OS use Stadia. 1. D2 on PC was created by Vicarious Visions for Windows OS only. 2. Battleye is only one layer of the anti-cheat system's Bungie uses and they are Windows only. The number of cheaters getting into the game as it is shows that Battleye alone would let more cheaters into the game. 3. To force D2 to operate on another OS you would have to use a emulator (argue what you want but things like Wine are emulators a type of program to adapt/trick a program into thinking it is running on a OS it was created for) this would bypass the anti-cheat and anti-ddoss systems Bungie uses. Until Bungie decides to spend the time and money to create another version of D2 you have to use Windows or play using Stadia (and Stadia created their own version of D2 for their platform with Bungie's permission and limited help). Using any other OS will result in a ban.
