All settings are on low everything from the gpu to the game is in performance mode. Shader cache is off. Fullscreen optimazations is off. and still the game runs like absolute trash on a 2080 super oc . and a 3950x cpu ...
****used to be salty, but let it go. The game needs a collosal software ooverhaul. Its killing fps and performance. This in turn frustrates and makes ppl not want to play d2....

returning to this my ex gf and a holes haccked my pc and ruined my system so the performance was absolutely tank the only think that fix it was rebuild the boot directories the boot loaders the entirety of the disc image and wiping all the old dlls and old gpus and driver i had to basically rebuild this damn system from scratch without killing the main files which was easily done but still aggravating to fix when you realize the reason the game didnt work is because people actively tried to keep me off it,,,, im -blam!- furious

2 RepliesSo why are you posting in help if you don’t want/need help & are just deleting the game? Help is for those actually trying to get help, not for rants.

I have the same issue that I also made a post for. Not sure if you’ve tried this but it SOLVED the same problem, though I do use AMD graphics cards so possibly this might not resolve issues with NVIDIA ones. COMPLETELY uninstall your graphics drivers. Do a clean uninstall, make sure it’s all gone. Then, do a clean reinstall. This returned my Destiny to the frames I’m used to seeing — better, actually — on high-end settings and I’m no longer in the dumps with frames. I will say that I saw a completely improvement yesterday, and that this might not be a consistent fix over a long period of time, but it worked so I’d give it a go! I will also add that I did uninstall and reinstall Destiny, and whether or not that played a part in fixing the frames, I can’t say. Good luck!

1 ReplyDo you have a program called Citrix?

3 RepliesI don't have this issue and runnng a 3600 and 1080ti. I also don't install new drivers every time they come out either. There have been too many times a new driver has caused me issues and and I had to uninstall them with DDU and go back to what I was previously using. I'm on 456.71 which is from oct 2020. I've updated 3x in the last year and always seems to cause an issue for me in at least one game. Over the last 5 years 9/10 times I end up going back to an older driver after updating. usually I live by the rule"if it ain't broke don't fix it" but every once in a while I'll try a new driver for a specific game. It will work great for that game, but usually break others so I am once again rolling back.

7 RepliesThere's been a lot of forum posts both here, on Steam, and on Reddit about a program called Citrix that people are using for work or remote access that had an update recently that's tanked FPS because it makes the game use it's virtual GPU instead of the actual one. Do you happen to have that installed? If you do, uninstall it and see if that fixes your issue. If not, I don't have much more to tell you other than what you've probaly already read. I just know the Citrix thing has come to light rather recently.
