By Bungie gatekeeping their streamers to be able to run through solos and casuals, it seems like all of them left already.
Without the flawless pool, myself, a top 9 % elo player sitting in diamond with a 1,53 kd (2,08 kda) for trials ALL SOLO STATS, so i am not bad by any means, i lost 18 games and won 6 so far this weekend and my kd dropped to 1.06.
Your matchmaking is hot garbage. You match me with 1310 players and people who have a .38 kda and also often a missing teammate against absolute sweat stacks the whole time. Bungie, think for a second. The vast majority of players are casuals and average players revive the playlist. By gatekeeping your streamers and sweat stacks by listening to their "feedback" that the flawless pool is bad, you scare off the vast majority from trials again. LET THEM WORK FOR THEIR STUPID CARRY OFFERS.
And no, activating it on sunday reset, when the weekend is already over for the eastern area of the planet, is not the way.
How can a company not learn from their mistakes at all. You revive the playlist, people have fun for 3 weeks. Obvioulsy casuals will leave slowly after getting their loot. And yet you scare off the remaining casuals by putting them against stacks who went flawless 200+ times constantly. DO SOMETHING or the playlist is dead in 4 weeks, only having sweats in it again. NOT FUN.
EDIT: I attached a picture of one of my teammates i got today. We faced a 3 stack with 200+ flawlesses.

2 RepliesHave you considered that maybe you aren’t right? And that it’s not the fault of 2500 people that you, one man, had a bad weekend because you sat inside playing a pvp game mode?
-
If your KD dropped that fast you obviously haven’t been playing trials for that long, don’t know why you’re bragging about it lol. 2nd it’s a competitive game mode it’s not meant for solo players it was only a means for solo players to be able to get loot. Idk why people can’t seem to understand this.

5 RepliesEdited by Kahrna: 10/9/2021 10:40:52 PMYou’re trying too play trials A TEAM BASED GAME FOCUSED ON TEAM SKILL AND COHESION... solo’s should either 1, go into game chat 2, squad up with other solo’s to make a group. Quit complaining and blaming streamers/better players/teams of 3 you pathetic human. The flawless pool opens on Sunday reset, in the middle of the weekend. If you’re that inept wait till then.

4 RepliesEdited by The Hate Campaign: 10/9/2021 11:04:01 PMEveryone can be mad at you all they want but you’re definitely right. I’ve been getting nothing but negative kds on my team while matching full stacks. It’s insanely frustrating losing to teams that aren’t good solely because your teammates are even worse than them.

1 ReplyI’d rather play PC players than get matched against LagStation players. Have a whole drive full of clips on how bad cross play is with that platform. Simply awful. I’d like to see the stats of PS vs everything else.

Agree with you 100% OP.

1 ReplyThey shouldn’t have added a leaver penalty
-
Just like comp, if ur not good enough to carry dont bother. Easy games on Sunday
-
Yep..all my games out of the gate are 2 and 3 ppl teams. The wait time is also slow af

My experience this weekend has been pretty much the following. First match on any ticket: Absolute sweat fest, but I can barely scrape a win. Second match with 1 win: Easier opponents but teammates either don't load in, or leave, or just don't play PVP at all and I question how they managed to get a win on their first ticket. Usually results in a loss. Third-last match: Any normal Comp playlist match as a solo cue (Not freelance). A crapshoot on whether I'll be matched with a 3-stack and usually don't get a 2-stack on my team. It's annoying to go against 3-stacks as often as nearly every other match, but until Bungie releases a Freelance mode for Trials not much you can do. My major annoyance is the lack of any type of skill-based matchmaking and the fact that Flawless players can match against non-Flawless players until Sunday, and even then I feel like it doesn't seem to actually work because people with adept Trials weapons are still matching against me and I haven't gone Flawless once in D2. I did it 2 times in D1 but that shouldn't be counted against me because D1 was a completely different sandbox. Also, I know I don't have the best stats ever (Something like a .89KD in Trials playlist alone, but not far off in overall KD either), but I hold my own and usually if I die it's because I'm going against multiple opponents or to special weapons because I use 2 primaries as I suck with Snipers, Shotguns seem to refuse to give me kills in the same desirable ranges as others use shotguns (often even closer ranges because of my playstyle), and I don't like using GLs, Fusions, and Trace Rifles in PVP. I adjust my playstyle with the knowledge of what specials are in meta and know how to counter each, even if it is just a "Stay out of their preferential range" solution.
And no, activating it on sunday reset, when the weekend is already over for the eastern area of the planet, is not the way.
bruh imagine having days off on the weekend
-
I know multiple people who solo queued to flawless this week. If you aren't that good, that's why they turn on the flawless queue on sunday. Wait until then.
-
Thing is Trials is endgame PvP I always expect to get my -blam!- kicked in Trials. But yeah it’s not fun being a solo player.
-
Yeah these morons -blam!- it up. Was having a fun time for a few weeks and now it’s -blam!-
-
I'm kind of fresh to trials, but as a solo I only matched 3 stacks and one of the first games I played a 3 stack that finished their flawles card. Very motivating. How hard can It be to match solo que preferably to other solo que. Or 2 stacks. 9 of of 10 games I lost 5-0 Might be the first and the last trials in D2 for me
-
And just like I said they would they only care about the influencers/YouTubers opinion because they keep people playing this garbage and they have a community of sheep who just regurgitate everything they say till they get there way because they don’t wanna have to try hard all the time they just want to have fun when they could just go play control if they just want to have fun

There IS such a thing as TOO MUCH of a carrot on a stick…

3 RepliesI'm constantly getting matched with sweaty players and the majority I'm going against have Mythoclast to boot. What also gets me is how a one shot from a weapon can so easily stop a super. That shouldn't work that way for any class. Especially a Titan. I thought we were supposed to be like walls yet we go down so easily. I even have on ACD/0 Feedback Fence gauntlets, yet I punched a Hunter and it barely did half damage on them, then they punched me once and I instantly died (no, not a one-off, this is constant). And my resilience was 13 points higher than theirs. If they were cheating somehow (which we're still seeing a lot of) then either the anti-cheats haven't gone into effect (I thought they had by now) or they're useless. Which wouldn't surprise me. Why is it so hard for Bungie to balance the matchmaking so everyone can enjoy the game? I don't care if I win. It's not not winning that gets me. It's the imbalance in it all and wondering why the powers and weapons that used to work well and fit to each class no longer do. It's really terrible. I Titan main and don't even feel like a Titan unless I'm playing PvE. I hate to think how the Hunters and Warlocks feel who aren't sweats and get stuck in imbalanced games. 😟

This post is screaming entitlement as if bungie hasnt been transparent about its goals with trials. They said they wanted solo que win rate at above 30% as of typing this you have won 15 and lost 31 which has you at a 32% win rate. Also flawless que is enabled in trials from sunday reset to tuesday reset which means literally half of the time trials is active flawless matchmaking is on. Also that being said if all of your stats are solo this season as you said you have a 51% win rate this season. Well above what bungie is pushing for. Quit crying form a LfG team.
-
welp the mod was not for solos anyways, it always feels like a survival freelance but against 3 stacks all over. I wouldn't run solos unless I wanna crack my mental in half.
-
Im intoxicated and playing trials. I aint winning a gd nothing. Wooohoooooo!!!!!
-
So wait till the flawless pool starts on sunday?
-
29 RepliesI get the frustration but like really? When was trials ever advertised as a solo mode? Saint literally says that the lighthouse is for the best of TEAMS. Like I get you want to solo, but you're doing it on the singular most popular day in the weekend for trials, along with soloing and expecting good results. If you want to solo, wait until Sunday, a card doesn't take 2 days to complete, so it's not a big deal. Bungie never meant for people to be able to go to the lighthouse super easy solo, it's for people that want anything but the lighthouse. If you want a flawless, run a team, they're far from hard to find.

7 RepliesNo point in it really. The armor is ugly, the guns are junk “for the most part” got me a hand cannon and the pulse, not really a reason to do anymore
-
2 RepliesThey don't care about the majority of players or making fun activities. For me, I don't mind losing so much but when you are losing 80% of your matches it's very unrewarding.
