Why haven't you done a freelance trials
I don't really need to put anything else in this, literally it is 3 stacks going against solo queues and cleaning the floor with them.
You're gonna have people give up on trials for the same reason they did in the past. Some of us don't have a reliable group of people to play with
I had a lot of fun in the trials before this one, but this one is literally bringing back bad memories

You all literally cried for freelance for iron banner and comp yet are still complaining in those gamemodes. Do you really not see the pattern?

3 RepliesIll preface my comment by saying, I personally wouldn't mind a freelance trials queue. BUT, that being said, Ill say why I think it hasn't happened(not that I necessarily think its correct, just, my view on the logic behind it.) Trials is supposed to be the end all of pvp. Designed to give the most hardcore pvp experience in the game. And if there is a solo ONLY queue, its effectively turned into 3v3 quickplay. So all the coordination and depth of strategy isn't just given up for the sake of, you CAN solo queue if you want to(as it is now, and people still complain about being farmed), but in that playlist, it would be literally just random players bonking heads and potentially getting top tier, end game, best of the best, hardest to get loot, from small quickplay matches. As opposed to, demanding proper communication and strategy to try and outwit and play your opponents, and earning your endgame gear that way. Do I think this is a great way to go about it? No, but I think this is the actual logic behind it. A true freelance trials queue would effectively take the trials out of trials. Ps. Don't sit here and downvote and troll reply me. These aren't my personal feelings towards the playlist. This is just the reasons that logical deduction would point to as to why freelance trails isn't a thing from a dev viewpoint.

Because beside the part time weekend Janitor and 4 iRoombas who do all the Density Development work and testing, everyone else is working on other Games. And they need all the money they get from Density to fund those games, and any spare change they find under the couch cushions goes to buy new batteries for the iRoombas so they can keep making Quality Density development decisions, especially for Trials. PS: It used to be 5 iRoombas, but one of them was promoted to Density Universe Assistant Director.

I will say this... duos will be screwed by freelance. Gonna make it real hard to find a third in a two stack.

It’s coming as a trials lab for 1 weekend only. Soloing in its current state you can’t expect to win, you might but 9 times outta 10 you’re gonna get farmed brother. If you’re just going for pinnacle reset the card every match win or lose so you can get the 1st match card players. Even then though it’s a lottery ticket match you may still wind up losing.

1 ReplyAfter they said trials success is dependent on having a healthy amount of solos playing, I knew they were not going to put a solo queue in. They are going to dig their heels in the ground as long as they can in hopes that that request dies down. Kind of sucks

Yes, for some reason they have programmed the matchmaking to find 3 stacks and try to put them with mic less randoms. Why can’t they just have a solo que?

1 ReplyThey will do freelance trials labs a couple times in the future but bungie already know for a fact they can't add it permanently, any split of the players will kill it instantly. Sorry to hear you don't have many people to group up with but take my word for it if ya keep practicing solo and then start practicing with lfg teams your experience will get a lot better
