As of last week I'm suddenly getting a repeated PLUM error code along with a popup box from BattleEye about a Query runtime error. This is happening regardless of what i'm doing in game; I get about 10 minutes of play time before it kicks me back out to the main screen. The game is unplayable. I don't cheat.
I have verified my Steam files, I have reinstalled the game, I have uninstalled and reinstalled BattleEye, my internet connection is wired and 450mbps down/20mbps up. I have given permissions to allow battleeye through windows defender and I have no other antivirus software. I feel like I've done everything short of reinstalling Windows, which seems like overkill for this issue since I literally have no other problems... I don't play any other games that use BattleEye. I don't play Valorant, and I only mention that because when Googling I found someone having issues with Valorant conflicting with these files for some reason.
Any insight?

1 ReplyI just played 30mins without an issue.. My next test is to play again after closing and reopening the game, then if that passes try after a reboot.. I ended up going into my registry and removing everything related to Bungie, Destiny 2, and BattlEye.. This includes all AppData folders and temporary folders.. A complete wipe of all information regarding the game and BE.. I'm hoping this first run wasn't just a fluke.. Only time will tell. Will post an update if things go back to how it was (got I hope not lol)

Edited by JarminxTTV: 10/12/2021 3:45:07 PMYou're not alone... Bungie won't do anything about it neither, I guess they make enough money from those without the issue and don't really care about the rest of us... Also, ignore anyone that says contact BE Support. They specifically state in their contact page they do not troubleshoot with peoples games as a player. The BE Support is only for game developers. They swiftly refer you to the game developers for further support when you try to contact them.

1 ReplyUpdate: I disabled Steam overlay, disabled AMD Radeon overlay, updated optional drivers through Windows, enabled TPM2.0, and factory reset my AMD card and reinstalled Adrenalin. I don't know what worked but the game is running now for an hour in PVE, I still need to test PvP.

2 RepliesHaving the same issue here. Never run a trainer in my life. I have an emulator that has a cheat folder for action replay codes. I even tried running the software to uninstall and reinstall battleye to no positive effect. Only thing I can think of is that we’ve been teamed with people using cheat software for raids or crucible and been branded cheaters by association of when we had no idea?

Had this pop up today, never seen it before. Just got an error saying "bad packet", and back to the title one with error code "plum". This was just as I had logged in.

9 RepliesDo you have a cheat folder on your system?
Error Code: PLUM BattlEye has detected a problem with your computer, possibly in relation to having a "cheat" folder open or on your computer.
Battleye support
