Chosen had Master Presage. Splicer had VoG. The only one we get is the Gjallarhorn Dungeon and we have to pay 25 bucks for that. Sorry, the same GM's we've been running for 10 months don't count.
Also, the seasonal loot is worthless aside from Vulpecula which is niche. All of the seasonal weapons are in the worst archetypes they could possibly be in and the new perks, which are fantastic, are wasted on them.
There is nothing I can play that tests my build. The Shattered Realm, while very detailed and fun to get lost in, is shockingly unrewarding (missed opportunity to put exclusive weapons found only in the activity as the chest rewards) and the seasonal momentum just feels off.
I'm hoping the destruction of Savathuns worm brings some awesome Secret mission or boss but I have to manage expectations. Those difficulty options for AA and SR won't mean much if the loot is the same.

The shattered realm I agree is cool, but not rewarding. After you grab the chests once all you ever get is glimmer. Wasted opportunity

It hurts.

3 RepliesMaster presage was something you ran once and then never again. Vog was unique in that it was the time in a while that we didn’t have to wait a year for a new raid. Every season has grandmasters which are a unique challenge to master and the strikes rotate each season. And there is a future legendary version of astral alignment coming in the future weeks. There is plenty of pve end game stuff to do, they just don’t put it all out at the start of the season because it requires pinnacle level power usually.

14 RepliesEdited by TheArtist: 9/30/2021 3:41:11 PMGM Nightfalls. ...and Bungie doesn't typically add new pinnacle content in the middle of a season unless its part of the seasonal activity or something else they've just released. ...and the notion that the seasonal loot is worthless, is subjective. 1. The seasonal bow is very good if you get one with the right roll. 2. The auto rifle is very stable and comes with excellent perks. Bungie has just tuned it so it isn't meta. So the best approach is to stockpile good rolls so you can pull them out when that archetype becomes meta again. 3. The fusion rifle is also very good if combined with the seasonal mods to boost FR performance. 4. The grenade launcher is also very good with the right rolls.

4 RepliesCould always try a 2nd or 3rd character. Each class has a unique feel and skill set

Edited by GMDeece7: 9/30/2021 9:16:53 PMThe comedian nightfall weapon was pretty much dead on arrival. Very little will farm for it, especially the adept version. It can’t get QuickDraw or opening shot for pvp, and all it’s perk selection is completely outclassed by slug shotguns in pve. Why did Bungie release this as a nightfall weapon, when it’s probably the worst shotgun in the entire game.

Astral alignment is getting a heroic(?) version. Nothing from Bungie but I feel like something is missing from this season and thing that were gonna get something dropped before the 30th anniversary DLC.
