Found the PvP inept who thinks he’s sick for killing the same boss a thousand times.

You're speaking to a -blam!- legend, watch your mouth.

Apology accepted.

You've merely been admonished, confusing to say the least.

Okay😂

You got me 🎅🏿

Why on earth would you want that? Pvp has helped to keep d2 alive in major droughts.
-
Has it though? Seems to me, people in largest fashion come out for the events/new seasons/new expansions. PVE seems to be the major draw, and PVP is just something the smallest portion of the community really sticks with. There are far better games predicated on pure FPS competition than Destiny. Destiny's draw is the shared-shooter element with mixed modes. PVP is more of a tack-on in this game than a "mainstay". Trust, I don't want them to remove PVP altogether as the great and mighty DerpyTaco may suggest. But I think it's pretty darn difficult to argue at this point that PVP is "carrying the weight" for this game lol.
-
A small part? You might want to look that up.
-
Player data has consistently shown that PVE has larger playtimes, with a larger component of the playerbase than PVP. I'm not saying PVE > PVP personally, but objectively speaking - PVP isn't the major draw for this game. If you have an argument or point of reference for me to review that would suggest otherwise, i'm more than happy to take a look. If you just want to do the whole "Oh ya? Really? You should check again hurrrrr" - then Ok, have a good'un =)

I agree. D2 is not a pvp game and it can never measure up to the current market and the new games coming this year. Not sure what Bungie is playing at or even stirring around bree with these changes. PvE, yeah, whole heartedly. When the new dungeon or raid hits the show... these pvp numbers will look insignificant IMHO.
-
Agreed. To re-iterate, I enjoy the PVP in this game. I by no means am trying to say "remove it" as some do. I'm simply acknowledging that PVP isn't the main draw, nor something that can reasonably compete with the market's offering of PVP centric games. I think Bungie is just trying to keep the players they do have engaged and continue to "shake things up" and provide options for the various game modes. It's a bit funny-sad at this point, but if they do nothing people complain. If they do something people complain. But either way, no matter how many complaints...people keep buying new seasons and expansions. So ultimately, I find it hard to ever really hate on them as they're clearly brilliant at making money and keeping a community engaged. Even if their boards (here, reddit, and discord) are proverbial -blam!--show dumpster fires of hatred.

I used to buy all seasons or the deluxe or whatever it was called (dlc+all season). Now I only buy seasons which I want to play. I have skipped more and more seasons each year and it's a downward trend. My kids were also regular on Destiny but they are battle royale now so bye bye to this game for them. I am not hyped by the witch Queen so thats a lot of season passes gone from my home. Bungie can shake the tree they want but they are now coming out as a crooked politician who had consistently made promises in every election campaign and did nothing. I won't be surprised if they are doing this to entice witch Queen sale by showing their sincerely. Problem I see is that they are not m coming out as good as they want. Too much damage has been done already. You play any other pvp game out there and you won't feel the same frustration as you do in Destiny. I don't think Bungie gets this about this game. 7 years mate.... 7 years. People don't give this long for real life relationships to work if things are bad. This is just a game!
