Bungie you guys need to do something about the ball mechanic and hidden champions in the corrupted strike
Here we are 20 years later and people still don’t know how to charge the ball and they don’t know that there’s champions in the ascendant realm. It’s impossible to get platinum running it with a bunch of randoms

Funny thing is when shortly after forsaken came out a lot of people knew about charging, would get random blueberries starring at me while I had the orb waiting for me to toss it to them and guess what, I tossed it to them.

They totally ignore you. Rinse and repeat until you give up and go home. Ogre appears blueberries insta kill it no platinum for me. Goes home. Get to lift, lift is broken so i go home. No Platinum for me.

It's not necessary to charge the ball on the normal strike, and Corrupted hasn't been a Nightfall for the past few seasons, so anyone who started playing during that time would not know the mechanic.

4 RepliesThe ball charge is people just being stupid so that's on the community, not really on Bungie. The champion issue in the room is an issue though that they despawn via killing the boss and you only have X time between teleports to kill them before they could heal if you didn't nuke them. The champions need to be changed to unstoppables only in that room and not despawn.

5 RepliesOkay im not blaming players for this one bungie are at fault tbh bungie doesnt need to always act all mysterious about how there mechanics work all the bloody time granted this one doesnt take a genius to figure out but i think now u have to be facing each other unlike before where u could just throw it at a player not even looking at u and they still caught it but ffs just have a tutorial msg for players its not a big deal raids are a good example of the stupidity that comes with bungies mechanics that are hidden untill somebody puts up guide and even then i find them tedious after the 3rd or 4th run

8 RepliesI just want to know what the hell they changed in the corrupted nightfall. The boss can clearly Boop you into another dimension now. Just last week when I was forced to run this poorly designed strike 3 times in a row(better than hollowed lair, at least I know my kills are counting) the boss was normal boopage and merely bopping me off the edge. I had chances to return to the land or stop the booping. But not today, it nearly booped me to the top of the playable map. Past invisible jumping boundaries. It slung me damn near to the bounds of the skybox.
